I went to the performance on the 14th May at the O2 Arena in London. The greatest performance I will ever see. Like the comment below I could watch it every day. Music like that of Pink Floyd touches your soul. Modern music does not (in my opinion anyway).

What makes The Wall so timeless is the fact that just over 30 years on it is still relevant to modern day society across the world. For all sorts of reasons. I'm 21 and I will treasure my memory of that great night forever.

Ik was er bij, op een stoeltje in de frontale tribune. Veel beter overzicht over de muur, perfect zicht door de gaten heen op wie je hoort te zien, en een heel andere ervaring dan het standpunt waarop dit gefilmd is.

Hier zie je weer details als de opbouw van de muur, de gelaatsuitdrukkingen van Roger en de bandleden, en wie nu eigenlijk wat voor instrument speelt. Heel anders dus. Erg leuk om ook dit standpunt te kunnen zien! Thanks for sharing!

I mean, come on, gilmore's guitar was a staple of the pink floyd sound just as much as roger's bass. and yeah he wrote a lot of the songs, but how many did gilmore write? and for that matter, what about wrights piano? great gig in the sky anyone?! listen to the final cut and tell me roger IS pink floyd!

Your spot on, if you ask me roger is a brilliant lyrical writer. BUT, he will never had or shall have the skills that gave Pink floyd the sound it HAD. David gilmour guitar is timeless, you can hear on the album meddle how Roger is way behind on bass guitar compared to David. David became leadsinger/guitarist for a reason. He was simply the better singer and guitarist.

After watching this GREAT first part of the show i even more starting to love the music. First time i saw him was at Arow Classic Rock (@lichtenvoorde) he preformed Dark side of the moon. My dad took me there. To be honest i didn't like this kind of music. After the show i just loved id. saw people crie. saw (realy) big guys getting goosbuns. But realy this show still only tells the truth. What the guys from pink floyd wroth years ago is at some points starting to get reality
