Man, cranking this song 21 years ago i used to think how right they were!!! Now look how ridiculous things have gotten. AS much the pranksters these guys were this song is very serious.....
I feel that most Ludichrist fans aren't the typical kind of narrow-minded hardcore morons not to appreciate this band's obvious qualities. If nothing, Ludichrist at least had the decency to change their name (to Scatterbrain) when their style had totally altered - unlike some bands I know, I won't mention any names Metallica.
I like this video. Even though Scatterbrain may have had a different reason for writing it back in the 90s, it's AMAZING how true it has become. (It's almost as if they were predicting the future). Weird.
And yes, nearly any song can be interpreted in multiple ways. Except for "welcome to the 90s" the song is perfect for today.
Who knows, it might be relevant in a different way in a few months OR maybe it won't be relevant at all (we can only hope!)
This song is considerably funny in my opinion. I got a kick out of it when I first heard it way back when, and hearing it again and listening to the lyrics, you can tell its certainly not a serious song. "Goodbye freedom hello MOM!" come on, that's funny shit.
To you religious fuckers - My imaginery friend is better than YOUR imaginery friend. Let's start a war over it and kill a few million people over it hey?
Um, I gotta say that the hypocrisy dun really lie in him callin' ya a communist, but in the way he was republican bashing. Ya see, when this song was written, it was in the final stages of the PMRC abd the laws passed to label records 'Parental Advisory.' Yep, this song was a slam against Tipper Gore. Funny how a song bashin a liberal biotch is spun to bash conservatives instead. So preachy? Nah. But the slideshow was rediculous and ill fitting for such a wonderful song.
left wing, right wing, chicken wing. It's all still the gumint, and they are wire-tapping us as we speak. If you'll notice they don't only talk about PMRC, but all facets of our supposed 'freedom'. Liberal, conservative, christian, jewish, it's all a scam. Stop playing the part of the fool and praise my videos before they're censored.
Well the irony is the fact that I know who Scatterbrain is and what they started out playing. But it doesnt end there, the fact that I remember them long enough to look them up on youtube. It still doesnt end there. I also stated the fact that I liked their earlier stuff. Wait one more. I expressed my personal dissatisfaction with this song (my *personal opinion*), I didnt condemn this song. Phew, this irony runs deep.
I actually didnt watch the slide show, I just wanted to hear the song.
Thank you for that wonderful response, I'm not surprised that you were so insulted by my statement. You are a very stupid person and get easily insulted at the most insignificant things. The silly insults you leveled at me clearly display that. Religion or no religion you should look at yourself before you run around calling other people foolish for believing in something other than rock bands. LOL. Bye moron. I challenge you to leave up my response.
