"Mr." Ma is supposed to be the "president" of the "Republic of China." Therefore, is it his job to care about provincial issues? I don't think so: Taiwan is only a province because the R.O.C. encompasses the whole Mainland (including Outer Mongolia) + HK & Macau.
You must blame instead the Governor of Taiwan Province, China.
Yes,you're right. However,I believe he might be a freelance reporter and do the extra news for CNN for extra incomes,I guess...because,I got this clip from the official CNN website...thanks.
Stop doing politics when disaster happens, ok? When the global warming will reach it's peak and 50% of Earth will be under 100 meter water, will you still do politics? You are responsible, stop using electricity
This disaster was actually cuased by playing politics from Ma Ying-jeou and his Party ignorance. Even at this hour, he is still playing politics. One thing I'm sure of is that Ma will still do some make-ups even under 100 meters water for his brainless supporters.
Ma said they, they, they. It seems he has nothing to do with them. He forgot it is they who pay him the salary and expense. Does he have HEART or CONSCIENCE? It's people's lives. Did he issue any warning against flood and mudslide? Did he issue order mandatory evacuation? Ma failed to do his job and turned around to blame people who lost their lives. The dead are going to haunt him.
i know. now he's blaming everything on people. and he makes it sound like he did nothing wrong. i feel so sad for the people who lost their lives and their families. bless taiwan.

By the way, this reporter is from Britain's Independent Television News, not CNN. Most people got this confused. Even CNN and New York Times said so.

Using "they" 6 times in his interview with CNN shows that he doesn't care about "them".

Are you willing to go back to the cave age? You know that's impossible. Conservation yes. Stop population explosion yes. Stop wasteful habit yes.
