  • if it takes hours to form the grand canyon the river near my house should have eroded the surrounding rocks, the nearby dam, and all the old bridge pillars made from stone. but they have been there for over 100 years..hmm

  • @bauerkurt87 Several canyons have been observed to have formed in massive waterflows, such as following a breached dam. On the other hand, If rivers carve out huge canyons over millions of years, and if earth were billions of years old, every river, stream and creek should be a Grand Canyon by now

  • of course a pyroclastic flow coupled with massive ice melt, carrying trees, huge rocks will erode soil within hours...

  • @bauerkurt87 Accounting for the nearby perified forest as well

  • Comment removed

  • @massimmortal There is no v-shaped Grand Canyon; there is no logical explanation of how Grand Canyon could have formed slowly; The 908 cubic miles of missing sediments are indeed missing - the small delta is post-formation; The Scablands and many other canyons have formed quickly - moving water is quite powerful.

  • More evidence is piling up against old-earth beliefs that have been taught as 'science' about Grand Canyon. No desert sand dunes are found at GC. The dunes found formed underwater and the evidence is staggering. When will secular 'science' start teachng the truth?

  • @RussMiller1000 The Coconino Sandstone is desert sandstone. It has desert fossils in it, desert sand and wind crossbedding. The Redwall has slow growing Corals.

  • The Grand Canyon has speep canyon walls because it is in a desert. The side canyons come from rain water, that is why the north rim is wider, the water flows south.

Why don't crationists ever look at the 5000 feet of sediments raised to 8000 feet above sea level. Look at the rocks exposed, not the hole in the ground.

  • @gregrutz Actually the water flows southwest & the north rim is not "wider." The north rim is 1,000 feet higher due to the slope of the Kaibab Upwarp through which the canyon cuts. This uplifted 4,500 feet of strata (unbroken as they were still mud) formed the dam thru which the waters quickly carved out Grand Canyon.

Why don't old-earth believers ever discuss the mile deep layer of strata missing from atop the Canyon's rim? Because a global flood erodes all old-earth beliefs

  • Deparate Darwinists and their cohorts are left with nothing but cheap insults and name calling - the last bastion for those with no VIABLE evidence to support their failing religious belief system. I suggest they switch to the one true system where our Creator forgives us for our sins and we speand eternity with Him in His redeemed creation

  • @CreationMinistries The Super Group of rocks is below the level layers of the Grand Canyon. These layers were laid down level, block faulted into mountains, worn flat, and then the Teapeats Sandstone was laid down over it. Then another 5000 feet of sediments was laid down, some wind blown desert sands, some slow growing corals. Then the whole area was raised to 8000 feet above sea level. Finally the canyon was cut by water flowing down hill. How long do you think this took?

  • How did all the marine sediments get raised up to 7000 above sea level, with some desert sands mixed in between. They alway worry about how long it took to cut, not how long it took to make the 44 distinct layers.

  • @gregrutz All the layers contain marine fossils - they were laid down by water. There are no 'desert dunes.' You are referring to the Coconino sandstane which has lines of parting lineation in them (only found in underwater dunes), marine fossils and the angle of the crossbedded layers only fit underwater dunes. You've been duped by flase science (1 Timothy 6:20-21)

  • @CreationMinistries ''All the layers contain marine fossils ''

WRONG, NO THEY DON'T. ERROR >>> ERROR !!

The Coconino Sandstone is from wind blown deserts sands, we know this from the fossils in it. Why don't YEC look at the fossils? Because they prove you wrong.

NOT A SEDIMENTRY ROCK IS FROM WATER ! Like Ash layers. There was no global flood.

  • @gregrutz Just like water stratafies out sediments in a goldminer's pan, the flood explains why stratfied layers laid down by water cover the earth. The last time the waters rushed off the continents they eroded the mile of strata, which is why the 30,000 cubic miles of missing sediment is not found -they were dispersed globally. Explain the missing mile of strata by old-earth doctrine -you can't. Romans 1:20

  • @CreationMinistries Except that the principle while panning for gold is the denser gold stays in the ridges of the pan while the less dense detritus is washed out. We see nothing even resembling sorting by the layers properties in water.

  • @TheScienceFoundation Of course. You must oopen your eyes before you can see

  • @CreationMinistries Real science doesn't work that way, if creation/the flood were scientific you wouldn't have to assume it beforehand. Also, if they were scientific they wouldn't be physical impossibilities, but they are.

  • @TheScienceFoundation You mean like Darwiinism, the Big Bang, spontaneous generation, etc??

  • @CreationMinistries Yes by real science I mean evolution and the big bang, but keep in mind that spontaneous generation is not the same as abiogenesis no matter how many creationist remain ignorant of this fact. The work that Pasteur and Redi did only debunked modern life spontaneously arising out of non-living material, nothing to do with the biochemical origin of life.

  • @CreationMinistries Science does not support 'spontaneous generation'.

How life started is called Abiogenisis.

  • @gregrutz Which is a fancy way of say spontaneous generation

  • Very good video. Problem though with the cubic miles of sediment washed out. Where is it. Problem with the cause of the world wide flood, what caused that? Problem with the uplift of mountains and plateous, what caused that. Problem with movement of plates. Only with a near encounter with another planet can cause world wide floods and canyons can be formed without water, as on the mars canyon. About 5000 years ago, at a near encounter event with mars, both canyons were formed in hours

  • @1949daxxx

Good questions. I believe I answer them in our videos on the global flood / age of the earth issues.

  • @CreationMinistries You didn't, a flood is still both a geological and genetic impossibility.

  • @TheScienceFoundation Right. Earth is only 71% covered by water - no chance of a global flood here!

  • @CreationMinistries Over 97% of the worlds water is already in liquid form and we still have 29%~ of the earth as exposed land mass. Imagine taking an aquarium, putting some dirt and rocks in it, filling it up with water at the same ratio as the earth, then trying to get that water to cover the rest of the rocks without adding anything else.

  • @CreationMinistries Over 97% of water on earth is already in liquid form, so you have to cover ~30% of the earth while only adding 3% of the current liquid water to the oceans.

    Try that math.

  • @CreationMinistries Poor cowardly Russ, can't even accept a comment pointing out that nearly all (98-99%) of water on earth is already in liquid form and doesn't even come close to covering all land mass.

  • @TheScienceFoundation

all of this is explained in the referenced videos

  • The Super Group of rocks is below the level layers of the Grand Canyon. They were laid down level, block faulted into mountains, worn flat, and then the Teapeats Sandstone was laid down over it. Then another 5000 feet of rock was laid down, some wind blown desert sands. Then the whole area was raised to 8000 feet ASL. Then the canyon was formed. Quickly.

  • @gregrutz you've been duped yet again. There are NO desert formed dunes - that is a refuted old-earth excuse. The dunes are underwater borrne dunes The Super Group are likely Day 3 layers tilted when uplifted. The 10,000 feet (not 5,000) of sedimentary layers laid down by water above them were flood sediments. 5,000 feet of these have been removed for 1,000's of square miles -global flood. This is seen in the Grand Staircase -look it up

Real Geology, a Believers best friend

  • This video is amazing. The evidence is so overwhelming and compelling that a flood caused the grand canyon. Just amazing. Go figure, the Bible IS LITERALLY correct!

  • @Jacktoast21 wow, go read a Geology book and tell us how the layers got there.

  • @gregrutz Ask those secular geologists to explain the mile of missing strata from southern Utah to the Sea of Cortez....only a global flood can expalin it but they can't allow for a global flood as it destroys their belief system.

  • @CreationMinistries And how would a flood explain the missing strata?

There know it is missing because the layers are still there in some places. How did a mile of strata get there?!?! Millions of Years?

  • Russ, thank you for this!! God bless you. The Science Foundation needs to admit they have no viable evidence for their "beliefs". As the textbooks clearly reveal...no evidence remains for their conclusions....they just make up dates.

  • You not understanding science is not the same as it being wrong.

  • You mistake your personal opinion for 'science' yet you NEVER PROVIDE any evidence proving this is not a matter of scientific evidence but a matter of the best interpretation of the evidence Secular Humanists own the schools & promote their biased interpretations as if they were facts I show the biblical interetation of the same evidence & this has you upset as your opinion doesn't hold up Prove me wrong - give up an undeniable example of Darwinism in action How about Ida?! LOL!!

  • Just actually try admitting you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about, you have nothing to lose and real time learning to gain.

  • If ignorance is bliss you must be one happy camper!

Though you have swallowed the religious belief of secular biased teachings (millions of years leading to Darwinism) real science is continually refuting such false science

To those of you reading this who have open minds - look at the videos and make your own conclusions - secularists only want you to see their interpretations - ask yourself why this is so - and watch the videos

  • You should write a scientific paper, get it published in a scientific journal after it is scrutinized and peer reviewed so you can finally prove the scientific community wrong.

  • Scientists have already proven the 2 old earth versions for the Canyon's formation as being wrong Though proven in 1922, old-earth biased geologists would not admit that the Scablands in WA formed quickly from a massive dam breach until 1965 - destroying several honest scientists careers in the mean time. Eventually the truth will come out about GC's rapid formation as well - the evidence is overwhelming as the vidoes reveal

  • "Scientists have already proven the 2 old earth versions for the Canyon's formation as being wrong"

    No, actually they haven't

You seem to ignore the fact that absolutely none of the characteristics of the scablands canyon are even remotely similar to the grand canyon

  • Regarding the 2 old earth stories (Ancient River & Stream Capture) National Geographic for kids wrote: ..research has turned both theories upside down. Geologists now think GC grew in quick spurts from massive flooding.. (3-05 pg 5)

Thats right, they've gone from millions of years & no flood - to less than a million years with lots of floods! (and LOL)!!

The Ancient River Theory was rejected 45 years ago! (Marine Geology & Gulf of CA Amer Assoc of Petroleum Geologists; 1964 pg 350)

  • Good point! The canyons created by Mt. St. Helens do not have solid rock walls!
