First of all I'm not a scientologist. Psychiatry is fuckin evil. I caught an auto-immune disease and was wrongfully put in the mental hospital because it went to my brain and started hallucinating. For getting bit by an insect I was put in restraints in an isolation room for 5 days for being NON VIOLENT. The quickly dismissed me as nuts whle I coughed up mucus all over myself and nearly died. Luckily, I had a lawyer and got out. Got on antibiotics got well. Then I sued them.
arguing it's the scientologists is an ignorant argument against the facts and show bias coming from the professional field more directly, and interestingly enough take religion out of the equation and you still have a lot of problems in psychiatry today
There's as much science in psychiatry as there is in quantum physics. The difference and the reason so much flak is given to psychiatry is because the subject is human, and while people don't mind if scientists are making educated guesses about the nature of the universe, they're extremely defensive if scientists are trying to understand the nature of the mind, and MIGHT be wrong.
Little minds being secluded for spitting or cussing Some do have behavior problems but do all behavior problems require a mental health diagnosis? Drug companies marketing their theory chemical imbalance Look for my petition A Child's Voice and please sign it.
And, I want to know why, if the boy at the beginning was such a good kid according to his father, then why was he put on a mix of anti-depressants? And WHY did the father allow it?
well they did say it was "situational" depression. Which meant there was an extenuating circumstance (like a death in the family) that led to his depression. And the Doctors thought the medicine would help him through it. But I am skeptical anyway. the video looks old and their have been alot of studies in recent years.
oh really well that is funny since i have been depressed for no reason whatsoever on and off since childhood along with an anxiety disorder... hmmm i guess i must be the only one in the world this has happened to then. either that or you dont know what the fuck your talking about.
It can appear to be for 'no reason' much of the time. Appeared that way to me too for awhile, so consequently I bought into the 'disease' bullshit. There are reasons though, they're just subtle.
Although I agree that not all are to blame the medication I've had friends who were normal and turned suicidal due to the medications that they were taking. They also had other dark thought such as conspiracies and such that were a side effect from the medication
Boudoiramani, you are one stupid s.o.b. If you watch the video before you open your mouth (or touch your keyboard), you'll see and hear that most people did NOT have agressive behavior before taking these poisonous meds. I know because I've taken them myself.
also there is a warning on the bottle that ssri's are not recommended for children, much less being on a cocktail of them..

There are alot of problems with psychiatry and people should be more perceptive on this issue of mass marketing and the damage it does to families.

get them off the antidepressants slowly, find out what the nutritional deficiency is and correct that! For example a supplement such as empower!
Then the antidepressants will not be nessecary, fix the proper way and have proper emotional support.

There's no such thing as non-situational/thought related depression.
SubliminalCommand 4 years ago
yes there is such a thing as non-situational depression, and that is the only thing antidepressants should be prescribed for.
lilmommax 3 years ago
no there is not, the root is the situation, but it is perpetuated by a negative psychological state

I agree that anti-depressants and ritalin are prescribed too quickly. But...for most people, they do improve their well-being.

Yea, and Scientologists are so strange that they don't want any more people harmed on psych drugs? Those weird Scientologists are so helpful, geez.

I've had friends on anti-depressents they've all had suicidal thoughts and so on worse behavior prior to them using them.

Yeah, blame the drugs. These people were unwell prior to being prescribed ADs. Convenient.
