I'm totally against any type of physical punishment - TOTALLY! As a childrens' rights activist, I try to educate mothers, especially young mothers on how to discipline and punish their children. Many people use the words discipline and punishment interchangeably, but they are very different. Discipline means "to teach", and punishment is a consequence given when one goes against the teachings, but it should NEVER be in a form of physical/mental pain. There are many other "outs" ...
