Before that the Arab nations sided with the Nazis, and before that they were the Ottomans against the West, and before that it was the Barbary Corsairs.

There is plenty of casus belli to go around.

The US is not your enemy. Wikileaks really only showed that behind the scenes US diplomats were trying to make a safer world: why wasn't there no uproar as Assange surely wanted? Nada to point a finger at.

I have the solution to the whole Middle East and Muslim terrorist problem.... Find another source of energy other than oil. Without oil the Arabs and other Muslims have no money. Right now they have nothing but the money that comes out of the ground. Like a spoiled rich kid they didn't aspire to do anything but foolishly spend their money. They have no industries, they have no science, and they have no art.

i know a persian phd. i am considered "worthy" to be his friend because my granparents fought for the nazi's. he consideres himself to be a man of peace because he does'nt want to kill the jews he just wants to move them to the mojave desert or the arctic circle. he is arrogant and closed minded and considers himself to be part of the master race, hence the name iran, iryan, aryan. that mentality will lead to armageddon.

Baer is totally wrong, his information is outdated. He would have been right 10 years ago, but Iran had changed so much.

People want secular democracy and Mousavi is just an excuse to come to street and chant. If Iran is free then there is no way we would elect Mousavi, but in current situation he is the only alternative. He is the only one who stood by the people.

Iran will be free soon. sit, watch and learn how is done. West never could understand this.

Hanson was a very poor choice for the show, and Baer has been out of touch for a while and it shows.

There are competent Iran analysts available. Really too bad Peter Robinson picked these two. They really don't have much to contribute in a meaningful way.

Kaveh Afrasiabi would have been a god choice. Flynt Leverett, too.

Oh well, an opportunity lost.

Really, the Persian and Arab stuff is really a thing of the far past. Iranians don't care for that kind of stuff. Iran consists of a variety of ethnicities and all are living next to eachother in peace. Tehy are all rather fed up with the eslamic regime in Iran rather that being concerned with each others diversity. What is described here is a typical way of westerners viewing Iran's matters. One might have hoped west have learned by now....

Most military people are, because when they're fighting they're limited to their orders and when they retire their sources of inforation are fox-news and books or articles.

Even Baer's knowledge is mostly related to Lebanon and Arabs. He speaks fluent arabic but no farsi. His accusation of Iran, musavi/karrubi of Lebanon bombing is only his assumption, no evidence.

Musavi only participated in Iraq war and karrubi was mostly a judge.
