A Malaysia Treasury circular directing government agencies to appoint only bumiputera (native) firms for development projects under RM30 million on Nov 6, 2006 is racially discriminatory, improper and unwarranted. Those projects form the basic support for most private firms, the government deprived non-native professionals of their basic means of income, many have closed shop and can forget about their children become professionals if they vote BN.
