why dont these companies hire out of a university and fire the 35 yr old dinosaur stuck on using shitty graphic programs, ive seen better from high school kids, wat a joke
This movie wasn't that bad but still very weak. Every single death was very predictable, dialogues are weak and visual effects were poor. Tinsel Korey and her beauty were the main reason to watch this film. I understand that it's low budget movie but I've seen way better low budget films in the 2000's - SharkMan, Alien Lockdown, Spiders, Python, Crocodile, Terminal Invasion etc
@Magnolia296 You really thought the effects were bad? They were better than the effects in any of the films you've just mentioned... other than the final explosion. By far one of the better syfy films
@Magnolia296 I couldn't disagree more, but who cares... I don't give a dang about crap CGI anymore... that's how I got to the end of "Manticore" and loved it! ;) Have you seen "Behemoth", not the best but the monster and CGI was pretty cool.
@m3do0 Only if you like SyFy channel films, The "Maneater series" and low budget reptile films, then this film is pretty good for a SyFy channel, low budget film.
This is low budget, and made for TV. so you can't expect much... But I Like these types of movie, with low budget. If you think that's bad CGI you might wanna stay away from most sci-fie (Or however it's called) movie's, and this is a 'Maneater-series' movie, so...Yeah.
I for some reason thought this was a movie theatre movie that just never got released here.
And you are very right in that TV-series and DTV's usually don't have great CGI, but when it comes to animals it's especially noticable. I also always thought that Jurasic Park was unrealistic in their portrayal, because the dinos were too clean. They needed more scars and dirt, just like real amphibians and other animals in general.
Yeah the rendering makes it look not quite there, the animation is a bit rough. Creature design though is top notch. Granted though whichever vfx house did that, it sure wasn't ILM, or Digital Domain, or any of the big ones for that matter. Still though, beats some of the stuff you see on TV. Not all mind.
that doesn't matter... Jurassic park had all the money in the world, and steven speilberg at the helm, even the shark in jaws looks better, because again, its by universal and they have as much money as they need and speilberg

@aliensharkboy No, the effects weren't better than in Alien Lockdown, Terminal Invasion or Python. Not even close but the whole film was good
