WOW! I always thought The Wonder Girls were overrated. Geez. first and foremost . 2NE1 is a rookie group which was just a year and half (more or less) in k-industry but had garnered many awards despite the short span of time . secondly, WG were almost 3-4 years in the k-industry . but kyaa! they're great too and i respect them as sunbaes of 2NE1 . 3rd thing, don't compare a rookie group from a veteran group bcoz it just sounded so bias . 4th thing, don't compare any veteran group to a rookie group especially if the rookie group is way better. 2NE1 > WG
Eventhough the Wondergirls is a more experienced group and has stormed the music industry with their song Nobody, but 2NE1 is a new group and should not be compared to the Wondergirls. Furthermore, 2NE1 also have created a change in the ladies K-POP genre, as their song are more to the pop and funky songs. Both are great, but my choice is 2NE1 :P
2NE1... it's not about who's older or hit songs since it's related to the song composer, not the group. Well, I must say that 2NE1 is too much to be compared to WG and I'm talking about talent.

WOW! I always thought The Wonder Girls were overrated. Geez. The only person who fits the 2NE1 image is Minzy, everyone else tries too hard to do the "lakh oh ma GAH im so HAAADCORE" Their songs are fine but please, this isn't ABBA resurrected. I really liked 2NE1 when they came out, but fans took it a bit too far with the "OMG 2NE1 is the best thing that ever happened to the Universe"

The bottom line is 2ne1 & WG cant be compared because of how long WG is in the industry and 2ne1 can still be considered newbies...But if u were to compare WG & 2ne1 on their debut, who do you think rock KPOP world the MOST? that should have been the question... anyways, id still go for 2ne1! first and foremost . 2NE1 is a rookie group which was just a year and half (more or less) in k-industry but had garnered many awards despite the short span of time . secondly, WG were almost 3-4 years in the k-industry . but kyaa! they're great too and i respect them as sunbaes of 2NE1 . 3rd thing, don't compare a rookie group from a veteran group bcoz it just sounded so bias . 4th thing, don't compare any veteran group to a rookie group especially if the rookie group is way better. 2NE1 > WG

Eventhough the Wondergirls is a more experienced group and has stormed the music industry with their song Nobody, but 2NE1 is a new group and should not be compared to the Wondergirls. Furthermore, 2NE1 also have created a change in the ladies K-POP genre, as their song are more to the pop and funky songs. Both are great, but my choice is 2NE1 :P

Kids stop fighting over this. Each and every artist have their fans. Okay some of these fans are idiots and start bashing other groups. Have some respect these women work very hard, many of you wont realise how hard they work.
2NE1 is good yes i have their albums but i also like wondergirls. The thing you have to realise is that these two groups cater for different people WG is more retro whilst 2NE1 is more electronic. each group have their pros/cons. Just respect them for the work they do

It is not because of Dara why the Philippines like 2ne1.. Its because of their song and their talent... Maybe Dara is a factor but not that most... Its because of their style of singing.. Nice fashion.. Likewise, Korean people showed them recognition that's why they got tons of awards compare to other although they are rookie.. So it shows that they deserve all of this.. they work hard for it so they earn for it.. whether its Phil or Korea, 2NE1 proves that they deserved their fans ^_^

ugh this is so hard to pick! i love both groups. they both have noticable differences so i guess in their own concept they are the best grroup of that. in terms of all of kpop girl groups, either one of them deserves the title.

@The131807 Okay... You can't really compare it like that since the groups out and the time was different. Kpop wasn't as popular as it is now as it was back then. If we're going to compare it this way, overall OUT of the rookie year 2NE1 has fallen in popularity as Wondergirls are overwelmingly successful worldwide even though an original member was replaced. 2NE1 is no longer a rookie group, where is THEIR success after their debut/rookie days?

@kimster1000 So?!? 2ne1 still sang the song, they still performed it, they still make money off of it. It's considered a SONG. So you say 'Try to follow me' wasn't a hit??? Well that just proved my point even further, 2NE1 has less hits than WGs. And if you look at music bank charts you will see that 2DT IS a mega hit. And 'Now' was a promotion for...something (can't remember) and netizens called it a commercial hit. Stupid was a hit cuz Yubin was still new and she gathered attention to WGs. :-)

I know 2NE1's 'follow me' has the most hits. I was talking about on music bank. And plus when 2DT hit the states it was # 1 and 2 on several music charts. The WG were the ONLY kpop group to dominate the U.S. PLUS WG haven't done any thing in Korea but go on T.V, they've been busy with international promotions And personal matters.

i dont get why people compare wonder girls and 2ne1 with each other when the both groups have different concepts. i prefer you compare 2ne1 vs miss A because they both have similar concept. and b/c miss A is really hitting up the charts right now. miss A have number #1 hit in every korean music chart right now. so can you leave wonder girls out of this? btw wonder girls are better though.

@BullToTheShit honestly they just had 1 which was Fire a wonderful song, but other songs don't represent them and arn't well lets say, most songs in korea are considered popular if they are playing in many shows or imitated by many ppl so Fire is a wonderful example to that, but other songs arnt as popular, to the fans yes, to the majority , no.

I'm really proud to be both Wonderful and BlackJack. Wonder Girls are always be my queen of Asia <333 and 2NE1 is always be a talent group that K-Entertainment ever had. I really love them :)
But compare 2NE1 and Wonder Girls is just... not right. I think. I mean, you can compare 2NE1 vs 4minutes or T-Ara,... cuz they debut in the same time :)
