If you listen carefully the 2 renditions have minor differences especially in the intro part. If it was lip synced there should only ONE same sounding version.

She is lip syncing. What you hear at 2:13 is her voice being recorded on the camera's mic, not her voice thru the mic that's in front of her. A lot of artists still sing, but their mics are turned way down or sometimes off. Watch at :30, she sings the "ooh ooh" part, but she doesn't at around :50. When she has to redo the song, she doesn't move her mouth during the first "ooh ohh" at 1:45 like she did when she sang the song the first time. Busted. She recovers with a live song, though!

We all make mistakes, we just dust off our shoulders and move on...my mom sang for a bunch of people and was TOTALLY OFF KEY the whole song, and she just laughs about it now.

I've known Charice for a long time...and this is the only and first time the producers tried to make her lip sync....Filipino's just don't lip sync...look up Regine Velasquez on youtube...she never lip sings..Charice never lip sings, until they made her in this video...She will always be the amazing singing talent that she is...and truthfully...her live performances and vocals are better than the recordings..

She is lip syncing. What you hear at 2:13 is her voice being recorded on the camera's mic, not her voice thru the mic that's in front of her. A lot of artists still sing, but their mics are turned way down or sometimes off. Watch at :30, she sings the "ooh ooh" part, but she doesn't at around :50. When she has to redo the song, she doesn't move her mouth during the first "ooh ohh" at 1:45 like she did when she sang the song the first time. Busted. She recovers with a live song, though!

You know what, maybe she was just saving her voice for the more powerful songs because Fingerprint is very "pop"-y and does not require that much vocal energy.
We all make mistakes, we just dust off our shoulders and move on...my mom sang for a bunch of people and was TOTALLY OFF KEY the whole song, and she just laughs about it now.
