I'm from Holland and I did Chon-Ji for my short yellow thing, Chon-Ji+Tan-Gun for my yellow belt, now i learn this one to get my other belt :D

do san is my orange belt form. i learned ki bon yon for white belt, chun ji for yellow belt, and dan gun for high yellow

I learned Chon Ji as a Orange belt and Dan Gun as a yellow belt; (orange comes before yellow in my apex school)

but learning Do San Ki Bon Yon Chun ji and Dan Gun so early Im impressed

well, my white belt pattern is Saju Jirugi and Saju Makgi, then it goes to orange belt then I learn Chon Ji, the Yellow Belt then i leard Dan Gun, the do san etc

mine is the same as jakllfreaks except in ours we don't have an orange belt :s it goes from white to yellow tag(stripe) and then yellow and so on...

Thats very strange because this is the third pattern you must learn and would be to progress from Yellow with green tag to Green belt. What is the belt system in your school?

That is odd, Chon-Ji and Dan-Gun were my forms for my gold belt. This is the form i need in order to get my green stripes.

with us do san is needed to promote from white with yellow stripe to yellow (9th to 8th kup)

Do-san for the green belt? yikes, i must know the do-san for my yellow belt (i got now blue tip) and i learn now for my blue belt the toi-gae..

i'm 8.kup (yellow belt) and now i try to learn do-san but i'm a bit confused... i'll ask my trainer ^^ tan-gun was really easy... but this "spin" in the video.... looks weird ^^ but i think it can help me thx

Yeah, I know what you mean about the spin; it's not easy. I'm also an 8th kup and just started to learn this the other day.

What helps me is to remember to have my head turn a bit before I start the spin. And remember to do your turning on the ball of the foot.

It's definitely harder than Tan-Gun.
