  • Im 15 and a student trainer for my high school. Whats better trainer or p.t.?

  • silly question but is a Physical Therapist the same as a Physical Therapist assistant?

  • @finalfuu

No. A Physical Therapist requires a masters degree or a doctorate degree after completion of a 4 year undergraduate degree. Whereas a Physical Therapy assistant only requires a 2 year associate degree from a community college. The PTA helps out the PT when the PT needs an extra hand.

  • @natalienightowl ok thanks :D

  • @finalfuu no. a pta only has an AA degree.

  • Im almost gonna graduate high school ... and that's the career i wanna do ... i find it really interesting and i already job shadowed a phsyical therapist and that got me more into it :)

  • hey, quick question...how did you job shadow? Because I've been wanting to do that so I can learn more about this career but I don't know how

  • your going to study for 5 years just to learn how to massage?

  • @zexion8890 FYI, its more than massaging sir. yes, massaging is may be part of it but physical therapy is quite self explanatory. its restoring one's physical capabilities. and its human bodies that we handle here, just like doctors and whathaveyou. we handle effin muscles and bones of HUMANS. so when you get admitted in a hospital and need a PT, don't come crying for one. nothing's wrong with massaging just to help a patient though. hope you realize that sir.

  • not just massaging ... more than that !
