they can get rid of 2 things that would bring more people back and make runescape a better place.

1) Get rid of G.E, everyone loved the overcrowded falador and varrock just to buy some tuna.

2) Get rid of max trade limit, Ive ran into extremely conciderate people who say "have for free" but WAIT! i cant as ive "exceded" the maximum free cash i can receive.

If people get scammed thats their falt, ive been scammed. keep the other stuff bout trade, just get rid of the G.E and the max trade limit

Sweet, I allready have 99 rc, and well I got 5M natures, I'm walkin' around with noobish 3rd age mage robe and bottom + my red p-hat, the p-hat is neat, but I would say it's worth it at all. Spend the money on a other good money making skill instead, there will allways be one ;-)

Hey vanquished, me again. I was wondering what would be better for rcing for money. Abyss SINGLE nature crafting, Getting LAW TABS and crafting them or abyss LAW crafting? Well, I thought of doing the same--get the tabs and rc with them. However, it seems to me you spend so much time getting tabs, you could have gotten 99 RC the "long" way before you get enough tabs to do it the fast way.

I got to 98 Runecraftng by the end. I've been RCing without using aid of anything from level 1-98 pretty much. I used World 66 law running from 87-91 I think for double Nature Runes but besides that I did it all myself.

i cant stand Runecrafting anymore now. havent runecrafted in over a year, i stopped at roughly 16.8m exp..oh well...came back to rs after like an 8 month break, now ive got my blue partyhat after 2 weeks of merchanting :P..i guess making all that cash from 99rc and beyond payed off..ill never sell my blue now :O.... :D...people dont realise how rare they really are i dont think...for the record...i boguht my blue for 304m now its aroudn 325m i think :P

i play from 2001 138 mod to. but i asked runescape to remove me from moderator's rank... i recomend you to do so to...and yeah... for a lvl 138 is a blue party hat w<ith a mage cape just a shame to let you know tough i have full 3a melee(without the helm) with white phat (get kite from clue) but as you can see im not that proud to put on youtube <.<

Yes. Though I wasn't constantly working the three years for the blue partyhat. It was off and on. I'd get one, make no money for a LONG time, then decide I wanted an upgrade. Playing time for 300m, making about 550k per hour would take ~550 hours or 70 days at 8 hours per day.

well in another vd i saw someone do 44-54 nats, 54-82 laws and then 82-91 astral runes, wich isnt far from the bank on lunar isle. but I currently do laws to 82, im using abbys now, you can also buy alot of duel rings and some willow logs or normal i believe. and take the hot air balloon to entrana. I think both are equal if it comes to speed

Vanquished, I miss those old days...when you could still go to world 3 in fallidor...I loved that...then RS FAILED...

Stage one: Grand Exchange+Trade value updates-you may think this was a good, having the GE and stuff...but it really mad the prices of items plummet...

Stage two: Summoning-I know I kind of did like it, but it did help take things down....everyone spent all there money on that...so you got nothing to buy rares!

Stage three: HD-It made everything go slow and look bad, fires?

Well, the GE helped some things, hurt others. Easier to train buyable skills (easier to buy and sell materials) however you also lose more at the same time. The GE and prices being fixed removed team scamming (people selling/buying ____ item 2m) and it helps lower level players know that the Robin Hood Hat they got from a clue scroll isn't worth the 20k someone offered on it.

That being said, it does make buyables more expensive, decreases prices of weapons/armor, and prevents rare merchants.

And the prevention of rare merchants being able to business caused the price drop in rares. Summoning did remove some money from the economy--thus causing deflation but also brought in a way to get around trade restrictions--junk trading. Many people offer summoning items as junk for means of buying/selling items they would not normally be able to (at "street" price).
