Buddy I've been skipping for about 2 years. I started out trying to be like Mayweather, If I buy one of your Aero ropes I want to know if it's okay for me to use it on concrete?
I thought I knew how to jump rope until i researched Buddy Lee. Like some, I am self-taught, was a 4 sport letterman in HS, 2 year collegiate basketball player and yet I am fully humbled by seeing this. I still compete, am in good shape and look foward to improving my skill set, mind and body. Thank You for this. Amazing.
you know what....ive been jumping rope for 10 yrs now, self taught from day 1. after watching buddy lee i realize i havnt scratched the surface. not even close. he did like a cats craddle at the end there, that blew my mi.d!!!!
this is art. It shows the creativity of humans (not all), and what some can do with a little dedication. How this man takes a simple object like a jump rope and do the thing he does, is amazing. (Trying to sound intelligent, LOL)
@iwanttofight69 Unlike conventional jump ropesI have redefined the rope with a patented swivel bearing system, that turns the rope effortlessly with a smooth turning motion with unlatch and speed and carol in all directions! No rope tangles or drag.
@buddyleejumpropes Hey, was wondering... Where can i get such jump-rope or something similar? Atm, only got some thick plastic one and one which is steelwire coated in plasitc, both ain't userfriendly to make.. x's ? when jumping ropes or anything else, tangles constantly.. :(
@iwanttofight69 If you know how to really jump , then you will experience the difference immediately and understand the Hyperformance rope sells itself!
you know what i've noticed, is that some of the best fighters have the best agility, footwork, speed. i also notice that some of the best fighter usually jump rope much more than other fighters. i think the jump rope is a forgotten tool. their is no other tool that compare to the jump rope as far as footwork, agility can go. boxers swear by it, so do muay thai boxers. notice that they are very agile. their is no tool in a fighters arsenal that will benefit them more for 5 bucks than a jump rope.
I am overweight and can only skip to about 1 minute straight before my form breaks down (my ankles hurst and forearms tire). Should I lose weight prior to jumping rope or should I use jump rope to lose the weight first?
@FitnessMinded Sorry fort the late respond. We appreciate your comment. We would suggest you to consult with your physician. Because, yes, jump rope if good for losing weight, but if a person is overweight and not physically conditioned it's better to lose weight first and then to start to jump rope. Because if person is overweight and not physically conditioned there appears a high possibility of injury.
Thank you for your support of the Buddy Lee Jump Ropes. Yes, we can provide a custom sized cord for you. A 10' cord will be sufficient. Our standard cord is slightly over 9' and fits people 6'5" and under.

Does Buddy Lee make/sell 11' ropes? I'm 6'8" and I would LOVE to own his particular rope of that length.
