I was singing in a karaoke lounge and the floor manager liked my voice so she asked me to sing old photograph. I know the title sounds familiar but I hesitated to sing it in front of the audience so I declined and researched the song here. I almost cried when I heard the song. turned out to be one of my old favorites. so now I'm going back to that karaoke lounge and dedicate this song to the manager and to thank her for reminding me of this song. I was given a photo that's dated on the back April, 1978. It is of Coach Bear Bryant and it doesn't look like a post card because of a guys face half cut off. Anyways, on the back it has this: US POSTAL SERVICE APPROVED below that it says PICTURE POST CARD, then gives date APRIL, 1978 then on the side it has a place to put a stamp and then name, address, city, etc. What I want to know is this a real photo or a post card? Any responses is appreciated. Was photos taken like this back in the 70s?
