Losi has better plastic quality, and engine are far better that any stock trx motor. not to mention better electronics. most of you praising traxxas must be fairly new to the hobby. In any bash session a trx stands no chance against a LST(platform) or an HPI Savage.

aftershock take a beating from hell and keeps right on going. my aftershock is faster than t-maxx but only after the exhaust upgrade, and aluminum clutch shoes. also figure the aftershock is an 8th scale truck that weighs 13 pounds, the t-maxx is 10th scale that weighs 8.75 pounds.

team losi sport ht pipe. I think its like 60 bucks. Gave me 10 mph with minimal tuning. Picco .27 is a bad ass engine. aftershock is a tank, you wont be disappointed. upgrade the turnbuckles and shock shafts. Good luck and if you have any questions shoot me a line.

@CommanderC00L558 aftershock breakin was a breeze. start it up, put it up against a wall, and let it idle through a tank of fuel. next 2 tanks take it easy, no big jumps or straight aways, after that its whatever you can dish out! Two speed doesnt concern break in what so ever. yu will want to pay closer attention to tuning though. There is an instructional video on losi web site that covers tuning, it is a generalization but still offers some excellent information. I suggest it.

The Losi does have bigger tires and can mud bog a bit better.

The Traxxas is a little easier to tune and start as well.

if u break it in right and get it tuned some wat well it will run good at all times, if its tuned well they start with in 10 pulls, i just broke in a new 2.5r for my tmaxx it took me about an hour. hope that answers some of ur questions. and if ur intrested im sellin my truck cause im savin for a car
