@azzamrockon the shinyness comes from the photo gloss paper, you can definately use it to print whatever you need to print, just use regular paper, they just showed the photo's to highlight how good the color is.

I bought less then a year ago the officejet l7590.... the worst printer i ever had.

Also the service is disaster... I've send it to the lab for a problem with the pictures quality prints, and i got it back with instructions how to clean it, instead of trying to find the problem.

The printer is still printing pictures like shit and i'm stuck with tons of cartridges!

@davfr57 What Printer did/do you have? Sometimes, depending on your computer, you can have drive issues, but most problems can be fixed with a little troubleshooting. A lot of people have bought an HP printer and are very happy with it

I have C8180 (not depending computer, this printer can work without computer!! firmware have more bug! not corrected by HP! see hp forum, I have posted all problem. I have warranty for 3year; problem are reported to HP first month, now after 2.5years, no solution: HP not respond me!!

Support is very very bad. (And I know very well windows system and computer!)

I recommand not buy all HP product

i had a plus with 2 bad printheads and i have a premium with leaks and possible inversions

i had 3 refurb c4780 and my new one which broke

before I have C7180 and same more bug in firmware (but less than C8180)!

and big problem: in the manuel this printer have logo energy saving!! but lamp stay on 24h by default!! and if scan negative or diapo and stay in scanner after scan... after more than 1hour negative or diapo are died!!! lamp too hot and destroy negative!!!
