Very cool work with the steam turbine. Yes the way steam effects the turbine are different from plain old compressed air. My unscientific way to describe it it that steam feels "thicker" than air alone. Down side is it is harder to push steam thru a given size supply line. The positive is that it pushes harder againts the turbine giving more torque.
how much horsepower it looks like it has plenty of torque

you need to put some magnets on those disks and get some power out of it.
