cheers...im also using some pedals in front of the valve junior, mainly a boss metal zone and boos eq 7 and dunlop wah, it really helps to bring the valve junior alive. Enjoy your epi custom, they are very nice guitars.

Your right, the VJ isnt that heavy and Im using a Boss distortion pedal and a Boss EQ too. This means I can play the amp at low volume and still get a heavy sound :)
