The song was quaint. It was a good investment for NOWAYBPA to hire Nicole Karalekas of Portland PR heavyweight Weiden + Kennedy. She wrote a great song for us, and did a great job singing! The cute little kids drew attention too.

BPA, you have your PR people, now that the people have Wieden + Kennedy on our side. They've worked for NIKE, Coca-Cola and others. Now they're with us! NOWAYBPA/STOPTOWERSNOW/Citizen­s Against the Towers/Yale Valley Coalition. Thanks W+K, and WATCH OUT BPA!

you will see the BPA cameraman (the guy in black) pointing his camera at the children.  the microphone was on a table less than 10' away..... How is it that all the other cameras (at least three) had no problem with either the video or audio?

The cameraman also had on headphones on so he could monitor the audio level.

Seeing that the video linked to is public, why not splice it into your video to give the viewer a true perspective to viewers of this video what really went on

While our camera and microphones were not set up to capture the children singing, another group fortunately did record their song (see the link in the video description above). We are adding the song lyrics and this footage to our comment record. We appreciate the courage it took for these young people to make their public statement. We will post a transcript of all the comments from the meeting on our project website (also listed above).

We were at the meeting also, and wonder why some key parts of the meeting were edited out (particularly those unfavorable to the BPA). That's just not right, if the BPA truly wants to provide citizens with an opportunity to have a voice in the process, as they claim. Also, those who were not at the meeting, will have a different perception of what transpired, based on the skewed (edited) video posted by the BPA.

BPA - if you want people to believe what you say, be transparent and truthful.

BPA does not want the bosses in DC to find out that they were lied to.

The bosses were likely told that Portland has this under control and the people that oppose

these lines are being handled. If the truth gets out, their jobs may be at risk and the

project may be lost. Too bad honesty is not part of this quasi-federal agency's plan.

Do a You Tube search on “BPA deletes song and gets booed ” to see what BPA did not want you to.

This video has been edited to remove parts BPA doesn't like. They have completely removed the song a group of children (who would all be living under the proposed 500KV line) sang "BPA the Children Are Counting On You"

Then when Mark Korseness was heckled for the same old well worn out debunked arguments, BPA turned down the audio to make the outbursts of boos and liar less audible.
