  • There is no barrier between syles, that is not flow, be be like water or whatever bruce lee said float like a dead body and sting like a flea.

  • Shes good, you can tell

  • True master

  • its nit easy to knee someone who keeps moving and hitting you :)

  • Dan is an encyclopedia of martial arts knowledge.

  • I wish I lived in CA, I'd love to take lessons from Dan Inosanto! Dan is hands down Bruce Lee's best student..

  • she does wrong 3 times when he asks for a knee followed by an elbow... then he gives a little grin and does it himself.. lol

  • i boxed for a few years no mma or kickboxing or wrestling. but these moves are pretty impractical in a street fight. there arnt too many people who are good enough too apply this in a street fight. mabe the teacher or bruce or kareem. im not saying its not a good thing to learn but for protecting your self boxing or kick boxing or wrestleing are more important. at least jeet kune do as a concept is good.

  • @alkipp47 i think the oposite, boxing is so impractical, if someone's holding your arm you're done, or if it is a street fighting, boxing will not help against kicks, and belive me, low kicks can beat any boxer at any time. Boxing is good a sport, and to give yourself some speed or stenght, but as a fighting method, is not enough. This moves are actually based on street fighting situations, and they work pretty well.

  • Elbows don't cause as much damage(deaths) as shins to the temple.

  • @GBDazzler Is that due to higher velocity at which the leg can kick at?

  • Jeet kune do is what i call the REAL mixed martial arts. Modern MMA is just sport bullshit, where the only real mixing is just muay thai, judo, boxing, karate kicks, and wrestling. Hardly anyone even remotely tries to throw something more practical or original in the mix. Cung le does a great job bringing his sanshou and taekwondo style into it, why dont more fighters bring more of their own orignal style? This is why the sport is getting boring, at least in my opinion.

  • @Huhmasta This is such a ridiculous comment, mma is real its tried and tested under pressure not in some dojo where everyone is buddies, people use their own styles most people in mma are from a grappling base, cung le himself is a sanshou practioner, but he has wrestled in highschool and trains grappling if he didn't he'd get massacred, as ground fighting is the most important aspect of a one on one fight if you enter mma with no grappling chances are 99% time your gonna get seriously hurt.

  • @GBDazzler I'm not even talking about "tried and true" I'm talking about what's actually interesting to watch! Also, it's not like trying OTHER arts and mixing it in MMA means it's automatically be unpractical. Cung Le has wreslted before, but how often has he ever got onto the ground to fight? I think all his wins are by KO's, that's just how good he is a stand up fighting (disregarding his recent loss and his fight against shamrock, who said he'd purposely only stand up fight).

  • @Huhmasta What groundfighting isn't interesting? Only to the uneducated. The only reason cung hasn't gone to the ground is because of the wrestling, and cung has been ko'ed in his last fight he was ko'ed by scott smith.

  • @GBDazzler I am uneducated when it comes to grappeling, I only know a couple of moves of jujistu and hapkido, but when MMA fighters get tired on the ground....it's like they're hugging each other for 5 minutes straight cuz they're too exhausted to do shit. At least with stand up fighters, they can still manage a couple of jabs. And that last fight with was bullshit in my opinion, it's only cuz Le hasnt been in the MMA for a while due to his movie roles that he got a little rusty.

  • @Huhmasta Try brazilian jiu jitsu, or wrestling, i assure you it isn't just hugging grappling is the most tiring thing there is and its a chess match jiu jitsu is the most technical art there is. If you think bjj is boring watch jacare or rousimar palhares, they show what bjj is.

  • @GBDazzler I really should, just gotta find me a good place around where I live.

  • @Huhmasta Where abouts you live?

  • @GBDazzler It's cool, I found this boxing place that does boxing, kickboxing, and MMA and BJJ. Called LA boxing.

  • @Huhmasta Nice one, you'll enjoy it la has a lot of schools, you have hollywood bjj with is very good, gokor and gene mills grappling school, machado school is also,

jj machado is one of the best bjj teachers in the world.

  • @GBDazzler haha dude I dont live in LA, that's just part of the school's name.

  • if we listen to Guro Dan he explains where it is coming from...

  • i think its wing chun

  • It's Mainly Kali...
