yeah um, i have windows xp 2003 edition, and my pc runs kinda slow at times, and i have done all you have told me to do, does it have a problem running slow just because of windows xp 2003. I have a good laptop too, 2gb ram, amd athlon dual, and good graphics card and everything, but it still runs slow.

@xResTriicTedx From the sounds of it your laptop is quite outdated, I would suggest buying a new laptop if its not good enough. If you do decide to buy a new one you should get something with at least these specs if you want it to last for a while: Intel i5, 4GB ram, 500GB HDD and 1GB graphics card.

@loly1110 I believe that you have to have a certain type of software for that. I don't know what it's called or if there's a free version. I do believe there is a demo out for something like that because I've seen multiple videos with a watermark of the company name across the video.

CCleaner is ok, i never had problems with it. but once i used TuneUp Error-checking Tool (instead of the XP tool) and i had to install windows again. i would TuneUp never use again

A "registry fixer" has resulted in my computer having lots of problems.

@lewars1912 I don't think you can use a place online to install Windows unless you have another OS waiting. If you uninstall Windows you'd have no way to use the computer, thus no internet access... Your computer should have come with the Windows disk.

and by the way, if your system is geatting really slow, download Malwarebytes anti-spyware, best software to remove infections out there

@rockhabbhelp hmmm, didn't work for me as a matter of fact. Actually, on of the downloads wasn't good, my anti-malware found a spyware... anyhow, i don't trust those programs. I would search on google the phrase "laptop runs slow" and click on the link which has the same laptoprunsslow name. He's got some good software and good reviews listed there.. let me know how it goes
