Turbine recreated Trollshaws so beautifully, especially entering Rivendell. I arrived there this morning with my character, and I was in absolute awe travelling through the Trollshaws and setting my eyes on the city.
I love how there are no direct "road marks" leading to Rivendell. After you pass the ford of Bruinen, you kind of have to search and find it on your own (and get lost multiple times like I did). It makes it so much more mystical and add in the gorgeous music, and I feel like I've strayed into a dream. When you finally find the gates of Rivendell, into the valley, it's just that much more special, beautiful, and absolutely breathtaking when you first set your eyes on the valley.
