I beat Dragon Age 2 in about 11 hours, after the first and second time around with another character it became extremely boring. The first time however was extremely fun.
dragon age 2 was NOT a bad game at all. I bought it later used because of bad reviews, and although it was very irritating the ONLY issue is the reused environments. the important things like gameplay, combat, character progression and storyline was just as good if not better
why does everyone think dragon age origens was good it was slow(and i no that you have to you tactics to be good) and the story did not even pick up until 8/10 through the game
dragon age 2 was focused around different things than origins for example in DA2 the combat system was made alot more dynamic and i personally find it much better than in origins, among other things the story of origins and the different settings did beat those of DA2.

I couldnt stand da2, for me it was one of the worst rpgs I had played, hated the battle system, preferred da origins system, preferred da origins upgrade system too, hated how main character spoke I wohld have preferred a silent one. Story was aweful, majority of it set in 1 area. What I hope for 3 is to be more like origins but with bit more exploration rather than quick travel to destinations
I loved dragon age 2 I really loved dragon age origins, and I wish they'd combine the two for the thrid. I think if they do it right they could make many many good games. dragon age 3 will have 3 huge story elements, since dragon age 2 took a decade to finish, morrigans son will have grown up a fair bit, im guessing dragon age 3 will take place a few years after dragon age 2, so the son should play a role in the game, aswell as the rest of the tevinter magisters coming into the story, and the chantry falling apart should be the key element amongst the people. it will be an epic game

DA2 was a downgrade from the 1st one. Only thing this game had over the original was fighting system and main character voice but then again there was only one voice for each gender. Other than that Origins was better every shape & form. If DO3 had the same features as the 1st with race options,open world exploration,etc. & with DOA2 fighting system game would be perfect.
This looks like it has very good potential. I'm guessing their is a tie to Isabella of some sort. She has very similar eyes to Morrigan, as do almost all people from Rivain. Maybe this takes place there? There are also qunari near there which would explain why the guy was so huge? Maybe? The king was quite dark which really makes me think Antiva or Rivain. Maybe the elf is the child of Isabella and Zevran?
He's gotta be something new doesn't really sound orlesian or ferelder I doubt he's qunari unless his horns were removed. Could explain the scars on his head but still doesn't seem like a qunari to me

Dragon age 2 had an awesome story but the lack of companion customization and choices in tanks and healers sucked big time do not make the same mistakes bioware add more customization not less and for the love of mike give us a tool box with this one.

So no one thinks the playable character would be the little girl all grown up and ready for revenge? Or maybe a previous hero? They went on and on about how they were looking for Hawke, and the Warden, The other 2 had you start off as a nobody and become a Hero/Champion of a country. I doubt you'll start off as someone important first thing. Unless they're showing a scene from later in the game, like they showed Varric telling his tale first thing in DA 2.

Make sure we can equip and disarm weapons and armor for all members not just the hero - I had so much gear I could not use in DA2 ... also I want MORE interaction with your party, like in DA1 - I want to be able to make my party hate or love me - come on people we are at the point where you can make a ground breaking epic game or a stinker... what i get off this is that we havent seen the hero yet so we might be able to chose race again. my guess is, were not going to be the kid, or anyone in this trailer but these people are tied into the main plot. my hope is that it will be like origins and each race will have its own entry into the plot, but thats just a hope. another cool idea is if they alowed you to play around with morals. the last games you always played a hero, how about a villan? i dunno, my guess is as good as yours.

We'll the game itself looks awesome, very fun. After playing beta to da2 I refused to buy it cause i disliked the graphics and plot to it, (I'm a Dragon Age origins die hard fan.) But this one looks like it's not playing off the dark spawn/blight plot, but making a story of it's own. Which might be a major plus, so when its released I will defiantly buy DA3 if its like this. Remember enter a game with an open mind, you might be surprised with it. and It looks ten times better then DA2.

I don't know if this is just unrefined or not, but the graphics seem to be a mix of DA1 and DA2, which is depressing (I would've expected a step up from DA2 instead) and I also dislike that there doesn't seem to be any connection to either previous story. Personally, it looks like it leans more towards the male crowd which makes me sad.
Dragon Age 2 was awesome! If Anders is in the third one I won't hesitate to buy it.

Dragon age 2 went over a decade, so morrigans son.. Could be a grown up and might be the guard. He got the demon eyes, and might be more powerful then he looks like.

DA2 was a downgrade from the 1st one. Only thing this game had over the original was fighting system and main character voice but then again there was only one voice for each gender. Other than that Origins was better every shape & form. If DO3 had the same features as the 1st with race options,open world exploration,etc. & with DOA2 fighting system game would be perfect.

This looks like it has very good potential. I'm guessing their is a tie to Isabella of some sort. She has very similar eyes to Morrigan, as do almost all people from Rivain. Maybe this takes place there? There are also qunari near there which would explain why the guy was so huge? Maybe? The king was quite dark which really makes me think Antiva or Rivain. Maybe the elf is the child of Isabella and Zevran?

So no one thinks the playable character would be the little girl all grown up and ready for revenge? Or maybe a previous hero? They went on and on about how they were looking for Hawke, and the Warden, The other 2 had you start off as a nobody and become a Hero/Champion of a country. I doubt you'll start off as someone important first thing. Unless they're showing a scene from later in the game, like they showed Varric telling his tale first thing in DA 2.

Make sure we can equip and disarm weapons and armor for all members not just the hero - I had so much gear I could not use in DA2 ... also I want MORE interaction with your party, like in DA1 - I want to be able to make my party hate or love me - come on people we are at the point where you can make a ground breaking epic game or a stinker... I vote for the epic ground breaker - Bioware I know you got it in ya!!!!!

what i get off this is that we havent seen the hero yet so we might be able to chose race again. my guess is, were not going to be the kid, or anyone in this trailer but these people are tied into the main plot. my hope is that it will be like origins and each race will have its own entry into the plot, but thats just a hope. another cool idea is if they alowed you to play around with morals. the last games you always played a hero, how about a villan? i dunno, my guess is as good as yours.

We'll the game itself looks awesome, very fun. After playing beta to da2 I refused to buy it cause i disliked the graphics and plot to it, (I'm a Dragon Age origins die hard fan.) But this one looks like it's not playing off the dark spawn/blight plot, but making a story of it's own. Which might be a major plus, so when its released I will defiantly buy DA3 if its like this. Remember enter a game with an open mind, you might be surprised with it. and It looks ten times better then DA2.

Bioware should've learnt their lesson by now and accept that DA2 is a HUGE disappointment. sure it's still better than most RPGs, but it's an abomination compared to Origins. there's a reason why their lead designer quit the company half way during the project. and only the marketing dicks know why they dumbed down character interactions and set the entire story in Cockwall and Wounded Cunt

I don't know if this is just unrefined or not, but the graphics seem to be a mix of DA1 and DA2, which is depressing (I would've expected a step up from DA2 instead) and I also dislike that there doesn't seem to be any connection to either previous story. Personally, it looks like it leans more towards the male crowd which makes me sad.
