Funny, how you mentioned you didn't use tabs ( They may be of help sometimes, especially if they are official. However, I think they keep you from developing your own style. That why so many guitarists sound the same). I never use them either and the way you played it is almost identical to mine, yours is just cleaner/better.

@MeinLegos It's a common lick and similar to a lick used in the trooper (first solo)... Where you hammer B 12-15 and bend G 14^(16) I don't know the name myself but I'm sure there is vids with similar licks and then just develop your style of playing it.

This lick i think your talking about also includes the high E string though, on the 12th fret. after first hammers on 12-15 B string so its slightly harder. (something like that, long time since i play maiden)

The one at :18 really threw me until I watched Adrian playing it in the video, and saw he was at the 15th fret. 1st string = 7th fret (index finger)

2nd string = 8th fret (middle finger) and 10th fret (pinky)

Try to push the middle finger very well the 2 times you have to push it, to give more smoothness

its kinda hard to explain the whole solo here... cus it is some notes. Well about the tab, there was a guy that didnt believe i didnt use tab, and thats it, i dont use tabs, i guess thats the reason i play it different. I use, when the notes are so fast or impredictable, a slower down program
