That book "A Nation of Lords" is a good book - I have a copy of it right next to the computer. That was a good call. Growing up on the north side of Chicago ( uptown, albany park, Ravenswood, logan square etc. I could never understand why the White gangs would be at odds with each other ? like the Gaylords and Simon City Royals, even the Popes and Dueces. But that was back in the 70's and 80's. I don't think there are any all White gangs left in the City. If you were smart you grew up and left the city for the burbs.
