I have my Emulator .. but when i download a game file from Emuparadise . and when i Run it . its turns to black screen i waited for a minute but its seems its not working .

@iaHeartPmMaine You need to unzip the file. I think winRar can unzip it, but try to search how to unzip 7z files. You need something to unzip it, that's for sure.
@REEV4 Thats the thing. I can't convert it, and when I click on it it tries opens this CD burner prompt. I've downloaded THPS1 from CoolRom, Emuparadise, and DopeRoms and got a the same thing every time. But since the emulator runs cd's I can just use my disc I guess. Thanks for all the help bro.

@ZorcovsParadise12 from the emulator itself, you wont, I posted it myself and it is 100% virus free. form the roms, I hardly think so, although it is always good to have an antivirus in hand. no one has ever stated that they found a virus or anything of that sort, so the chances of that happening are very small. note that 11000 people saw this, and no one has ever said anything, though I can't promise that there is no possibilty of that happening.
@maju786 if it's an ecm file it really wont load. if it is you should download it from another website or try to convert that file into one ePSXe can read (such as ROM or ISO). Btw, I don't know how to convert the ecm file, so I won't be able to help with that, although I think it is possible to do that.

I clicked on configure....and it told me I had to download bios file *scph1001.bin* or the *scph7502*. I download both of them but it doesnt let me configure. I also cudnt find a download the pete's driver thing that u use? can u send me link or...what can i do? Thanks for you help.
@vishal676 the emulator also has the correct bios... don't know why it isn't detecting them. either way, grab the file you downloaded and drag it under the "bios" file if you can't use pete's driver, just try using another one. one more thing, did you modify the download I gave you in any way? even dragging something out of the folder I gave you will make it not work. maybe you dragged the epsxe executable out of the folder?

I got to the Site to download the emulator and it said this "User downloading session limit is reached. Please try again in few minutes." And it wouldn't let me download it.
@yusukegarners first, I don't think this emulator will emulate ps2, though it's a psx emulator. you need a ps2 emulator. second, even if you have a very powerful computer, the way it is coded makes it very slow, so I bet it will be tough for you to run ps2 game smoothly. third, ps2 roms exist but are very big and hard to find. I don't know a website where you can download these roms. running ps2 games is very hard, unfortunetly, so don't get your hopes too high.
@chandersful if your game came with multiple files, run each one. if that doesn't work, try configuring your video settings or downloading the game from another website.

@JohnTheSeeker931 I would reccomend first tweaking your ePSXe video settings. If that doesn't work, try running another game to see if it's a problem with your computer, or with your ROM. If the other game doesn't work either, you might want to change other graphics settings, like your graphics card or DirectX. Btw, try googling your problem. Maybe you'll find a better solution.

Basicly, some games need them to run or to function properly, so look into that. I thing it might be in the Video settings. My Computer: MacBook Standard, 2GB Ram, Core 2 Duo 2.13 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce 9400M. It's a 2009 computer, and I can play at pretty high settings, so even if your computer is older, you can set the settings lower. It will most likely run.

@thealiancefreak well, you could try to delete the virtual memory card files inside the "memcards" folder and reconfigure the memory cards in epsxe. but, before you do that, I reccomend you playing another game and saving it to see if that happens with other games too, because there might be a problem with your ISO, and not your epsxe. if that's the case, I won't be able to help you, but you could google the problem to see if you find a solution.

@sXeRevenant hmmm... that's weird. the download already includes the bios. are you sure you didn't modify it in any way? anyway, try redownloading it. if that doesn't work, go to emuparadise, and you should find the PS1 Bios there. download them and place the on your "bios" folder, which should be on your epsxe folder. Oh, and btw, make sure you don't remove the epsxe program form the folder you downloaded, in case you did that. but I really recommend redownloading it.
the thing is..... the screen you had at 8:28...... that happened to me, my screen was pitch black, it stayed like that for a long time, until I exited.

These steps should help with problems that people like @skate4daZe are facing, try it and it should work. Google can help you find anything you need to know if u become an expert on knowing what keywords to use when searching
Stay with me a little longer, Google "What is an EMC file and how can i play it?" and click on the first Yahoo Answer result. The guy who answered the question gives u step by step instruction, on how to turn that ECM file into a BIN file, once u can do that, u'll be able to play. The link he gives u for where to download the converter is a bit confusing. So if u can't find it in his link, just google "Download ECM v1.0", the second result from Mediafire, use that one
i followed this guide but couldn't get it to run games, i then fixed the problem and am here to try and help some of u out. The first game i downloaded after getting ePSXe was FF7. After i extract the .rar game file, there was a ECM file and a CUE file. When u try to "Rune ISO" using the ePSXe, only the CUE file will show up on the list, but will have error trying to run it. What you actually have to do is run the ECM file, however this is where you have to do an extra step, dont get discouraged

@NoiThinkiWillStay there should be about, maximum, 5 files. when you run the iso in ePSXe, you'll need to run every single file, because usually only one file is the one that is going to run.
@skate4daZe I would sugest you trying to download another game and try running it. If every game you run gets that error file, then you might want to try changing some settings, although I really don't know if that could fix it. Maybe redownloading ePSXe could help too.
hi i just download ff9 all 4disc from emuparadise but when i open ePSXe and run ISO i cannot view the ECM file which execute the ff9 game i think. but from the ff9 file i downloaded there is an ECM file... really need help
@kevingodnesss ePSXe can't run ECM files. I think there is a way to convert them to a file ePSXe can run, but I'm not sure. Either way, try downloading the game from somewhere else, maybe in another website the game is in a file ePSXe can run.
@mwatcher100 it's all shown in the video. I said everything you have to do to play the games. If you're problem is that you're not finding the game in both CoolRom and Emuparadise, like I showed in the video, then try googling it and downloading it from somewhere else.
Im trying to play Hot shots golf, it has a bin and cue file, tried both, but when the game starts up and says "Sony computer entertainment america presents" then freezes. Whats wrong? :(
@REEV4 Now I downloaded Hot Shots Golf 2 and it comes with three files, a ccd file, a disc image file and a .sub file. And when I run ISO on the ccd and the disc image, it looks like its about to work the just has a grey screen. And also there are those three files, when I click the ISO the .sub file never shows up. @JoeCabreraMusic try tweaking your video settings. I played Tony Hawk Pro Skater, and there were a few glitches, but by tweaking my video settings, I was able to fix it, so try that out.
@JoeCabreraMusic as to the files, I really can't tell which one is correct. as to the settings, I mean everything under video settings. try taking 20 minutes of your day and tweak everything until maybe eventually you have the results you want. I really can't tell you what to tweak, because it depends from game to game.

Hey I saved my emulator to my desktop and downloaded this Twisted Metal 2 [U] [SCUS-94306].rar I tried opening my emulator and it said "To open this file, windows needs to know what program you want to use to open it. Windows can look it up automatically, or you can manually select from a list of programs that are installed on your computer" It says that every time I try to open it. Please help! It's still a .RAR file... Thanks!
@soad11dude First, you need to open the RAR file (you need WinRAR, download it if you don't have it). Then you need to extract all the files in the RAR folder onto a normal folder in your computer (kind of like the files that I show in the videos). After ou have a folder with the files inside, go to ePSXe, go to File> Open ISO, the choose the file that you want to run. If there are multiple files, run ever single of them until the game runs. If you need any more hel just comment back. :)

@sXeRevenant hmmm... that's weird. the download already includes the bios. are you sure you didn't modify it in any way? anyway, try redownloading it. if that doesn't work, go to emuparadise, and you should find the PS1 Bios there. download them and place the on your "bios" folder, which should be on your epsxe folder. Oh, and btw, make sure you don't remove the epsxe program form the folder you downloaded, in case you did that. but I really recommend redownloading it.

the thing is..... the screen you had at 8:28...... that happened to me, my screen was pitch black, it stayed like that for a long time, until I exited.

i did the ecm steps and now it can see it and opens it up but then its still just a black screen for a very long time if the game is right does it mean the prgram got messed up ? i know for a fact it worked once but havent got it to do ti twice

These steps should help with problems that people like @skate4daZe are facing, try it and it should work. Google can help you find anything you need to know if u become an expert on knowing what keywords to use when searching

Stay with me a little longer, Google "What is an EMC file and how can i play it?" and click on the first Yahoo Answer result. The guy who answered the question gives u step by step instruction, on how to turn that ECM file into a BIN file, once u can do that, u'll be able to play. The link he gives u for where to download the converter is a bit confusing. So if u can't find it in his link, just google "Download ECM v1.0", the second result from Mediafire, use that one

i followed this guide but couldn't get it to run games, i then fixed the problem and am here to try and help some of u out. The first game i downloaded after getting ePSXe was FF7. After i extract the .rar game file, there was a ECM file and a CUE file. When u try to "Rune ISO" using the ePSXe, only the CUE file will show up on the list, but will have error trying to run it. What you actually have to do is run the ECM file, however this is where you have to do an extra step, dont get discouraged

@NoiThinkiWillStay there should be about, maximum, 5 files. when you run the iso in ePSXe, you'll need to run every single file, because usually only one file is the one that is going to run.

@skate4daZe I would sugest you trying to download another game and try running it. If every game you run gets that error file, then you might want to try changing some settings, although I really don't know if that could fix it. Maybe redownloading ePSXe could help too.

hi i just download ff9 all 4disc from emuparadise but when i open ePSXe and run ISO i cannot view the ECM file which execute the ff9 game i think. but from the ff9 file i downloaded there is an ECM file... really need help

@kevingodnesss ePSXe can't run ECM files. I think there is a way to convert them to a file ePSXe can run, but I'm not sure. Either way, try downloading the game from somewhere else, maybe in another website the game is in a file ePSXe can run.

@mwatcher100 it's all shown in the video. I said everything you have to do to play the games. If you're problem is that you're not finding the game in both CoolRom and Emuparadise, like I showed in the video, then try googling it and downloading it from somewhere else.

@REEV4 Now I downloaded Hot Shots Golf 2 and it comes with three files, a ccd file, a disc image file and a .sub file. And when I run ISO on the ccd and the disc image, it looks like its about to work the just has a grey screen. And also there are those three files, when I click the ISO the .sub file never shows up. Anything you can do to help?

@JoeCabreraMusic try tweaking your video settings. I played Tony Hawk Pro Skater, and there were a few glitches, but by tweaking my video settings, I was able to fix it, so try that out.

@JoeCabreraMusic as to the files, I really can't tell which one is correct. as to the settings, I mean everything under video settings. try taking 20 minutes of your day and tweak everything until maybe eventually you have the results you want. I really can't tell you what to tweak, because it depends from game to game.

hey i did everything in he vid but i have one problem i downloaded the iso (digimon world 1) and theres the letter e in front . now when i try to play the game its not listed as an iso the only way to find it is to press all files and when i try to open it off of epsxe it just stays at a black screen and nothing happens

@Frontuu45 open up ePSXe, then go to File>Run ISO. Then, open up the bin file. If the game doesn't run, open the cue file.

Hey I saved my emulator to my desktop and downloaded this Twisted Metal 2 [U] [SCUS-94306].rar I tried opening my emulator and it said "To open this file, windows needs to know what program you want to use to open it. Windows can look it up automatically, or you can manually select from a list of programs that are installed on your computer" It says that every time I try to open it. Please help! It's still a .RAR file... Thanks!

@soad11dude First, you need to open the RAR file (you need WinRAR, download it if you don't have it). Then you need to extract all the files in the RAR folder onto a normal folder in your computer (kind of like the files that I show in the videos). After ou have a folder with the files inside, go to ePSXe, go to File> Open ISO, the choose the file that you want to run. If there are multiple files, run ever single of them until the game runs. If you need any more hel just comment back. :)
