  • @debilxxxl High five ;-)

  • very nice movie

  • Hi. Good quality, quite good video ... and: original sound !!! (but i would use the standard objective to have not this unreal view) :-)

  • @steinert Thanks. Yes, its an odd view using this lens but I wanted to get as much as much as possible in using the wide angle lens. But I admit it does look a little strange!

  • Them views and roads are breathtaking. living in the uk in a busy town. somewhere like this is my vision of heaven :)

  • @Lipsmoker Thanks. I was real lucky with the weather and managed to catch some empty roads in good light, blue skies and on empty roads. This year wasn't so good, but I'll take the rough with the smooth. And any day there is better any day here!

  • yo quiero vivir allí, beautiful

  • Hey, i posted a reaction on this vid 6 months ago or so. Like i said i have a 1200GS also now. See my vid!

  • all your video just fantastic

  • This is Splugen pass north side descent.

  • @MaestroSnoek Thanks. I knew I'd seen it before ;-). I've changed the title to reflect the correct pass.

  • very very nice movie! ggggggggreat!

  • All your video's are GREAT!!!!

  • I suddenly have a feeling that I want to go to the Alps.

  • @baikudokan Hi and thanks for all the comments. Great riding available in the Alps over many countries from lakes and 'cool' towns in northern Italy, thru fast French and Austrian passes, perfectly kept fields of Switzerland and Germany. It's all there. If you haven't been over there is no time like the present! I go back again next summer on the GS - the Honda CBR is too uncomfortable for a 3,000 mile twisty trip.

Please keep posting the videos - great view of Japan for me.

    Regards.

  • Awesome video... How is the GS for long touring? Do you have someone that gets in the back, and are they comfortable after a long ride? I'd like to get a GS but want to make sure the girlfriend will be able to ride for a long time. Thanks!

  • @bondatomic

Hi. GS is awesome for touring, 2-up, wet, long days and general tomfoolery. I have had plenty of 10 hr back-to-back days playing in the Alps on my own or with my girlfriend + carrying a stack of gear. Get some good road tyres if you're not taking it offroad and it can hustle pretty well. It's an 'easy' bike to get on and ride fast enough (100hp and tons of torque is plenty in the twisties). Get a topbox for your girlfriend and she'll love it.

    Have fun, ride safe.

  • @MrEunuch

    Thanks for your message!

  • Thanks so much for the quick response!

  • what camera did you film this with

  • @Fugazy87

Hey. I just sent you a message with some more info, but its just the wide angle HD Hero takin in 720P 30 frame/sec. I could have got better quality at 1080P of 60 frame/sec at 720P but I was trying to conserve SD card space for a 9 day trip.

    Have fun!

  • fantastic trip on gs

  • When I saw that first oncoming car I tripped out for a sec. haha.

  • Fantastic trip. Smooth ride on your GS.

    Thanks.

    Ride safe.

    Vte :)
