A closer inspection of Screaming Mantis reveals two marionettes of previous MGS bosses: Psycho Mantis and The Sorrow. All four of them are women who suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder. Their inner human side is referred to as "Beauty", while their outer appearance is referred to as "Beast".

Yes, make fun of the man that can actually put English sentences together in speech while you can't even comprehend Japanese, who is the genius mastermind behind the magnificient MGS series, and actually has a cool job for a living.
