i did it would have been a great song, if it hadnt been WAY over played on the radio till we all got sick of it. taken as a song, it is just fine; taken as an over played pop song that the radio ran into the ground, then yes, it sucks. but try not to think of it like that.
IDI would have been a great song if it hadn't been the first song on Everyday, an album in which Dave fans of the time thought the band had "sold out," and the song has forever since been used to affirm this opinion, get it? I did it? He sold out. The song does, however, blow pretty hard relative to the bar Dave sets for himself with nearly every one of his other songs. just my opinon tho.
yea you really cant compare anything after Everyday to any songs of prior albums IMHO its just different...i believe that he wants to get back on the radio get more popularity...not that that is wrong...but dmb fans know which songs to appreciate
