  • I say bring back gp7-9s 15-1s 38-2's! Screw this ugly genset shit.

  • wow!

  • Comment removed

  • Wouldn't BNSF save even more diesel if it didn't have to run multiple locomotives. I think 1 or 2 should be fine but 4+????

  • tay 1:50 hyway idday heytay avehay otay orkway ithway hetay US Department of Defense?

  • AMERICA! It's time to fully use rail once again!

  • BNSF U SONS OF GUNS! MAKE A HERITAGE FLEET LIKE UNION PACIFIC!

  • @shadowdemon46 Warren Buffet is to hard up or something to even think about something like that, i mean look at the way his utilities are run, you would think he was going broke or something. Then again it would be pretty cool to see a tiger stripe BN again.

  • I hear BNSF is also testing locomotives that burn Mexicans as an alternative fuel

  • well leave it to BNSF, theyre in MSTS TRAINZ, They replace perfectly good locomotives with junk.....most money hungry railroad on the continent besides UP and NS

  • yet they forget to mention that they are the second highest users of oil in the world behind the Navy

  • i dont understand why people hate new GEs but love new EMDs

  • @trainzguy101 Just a retarded bandwagon trend, these companies are going to CONTINUE to buy GE Locomotives no matter what these crazy GE hating people say...just ignore them.

  • @k5lta k

  • SCEW GEVOS! and dash 9s LONG LIVE THE SD40-2's!!

  • I really like the look of their new hybrid locomotive. Can't wait till we see these in full service.

  • Me pregunto si esas locomotoras arrollarán...

  • The biodiesel engines look ugly. BNSF Sucks because all they want is electronic bells, and e- bells suck. They do suck at signals, but they are doing their part in conserving energy.

  • Then how many tons of freight can it carry under 5 gallons

  • BNSF sucks, csx is better, cause youll never see csx get rid of sd40s and other road power from EMD and theyll never gt rid of the dash 8s

  • @railfankasey the reason of getting rid of those old locomotives is because they are aging and becoming inefficient compared to the new engines, I mean is ok if some engines want to be preserved in museums, that would be a good way of getting rid of them in a productive way

  • I just want 'em to look awesome.

    Well, all trains look awesome!!!

  • NO! NOT THE SD40-2s!

  • @shadowknight227 hey I hate it too but NS still has theirs

  • Say goodbye to Ex ATSF Dash 9/ SD75M

Dash 8 are already on their way out

  • @atsfft103 they where retired because of uncomfortable cabs, not because of emissions and efficency

  • @shadowknight227 dude seriously why would a railroad pay more when they can just change the cab if thats the case bnsf does not care about these engines there over 10yrs old they can last for another 20yrs but they want trade ins

  • @atsfft103 do you know how complicated it is to make a new cab for a locomotive like that that is compatible?

  • @shadowknight227 who said anything about swapping cabs you can change the interior a Dash 9 cab is the same as a gevo pretty much

GE and BNSF make a deal with trade ins trade in the old for new

  • BNSF is moving in the right direction with these new enviromentmentally friendly locomotive. This video was fun to watch and very informative

  • they should keep older power. they were extreemly relible even today these gevos are nice but they are crap.

  • @BNSF9250 Yes they need SD70M-2's and SD70ACe's not Crappy ES44's

  • @UP5140SD70M they do have sd70ace's and why does everybody hate BNSF so much

  • @trainzguy101 yea i know

  • BNSF, Gasta 15 000 000 l. de diesel diarios, es la segunda red ferroviarias de Estados Unidos de America, Buenisimas tomas. Favoritos.
