i just got one of these, and the carbon strip doesnt work properly, it makes a noise when i touch it with the stylus thing, but doesnt change key when i move up and down... someone help me out here?
Attack and decay are envelopes for the wave. Attack is how quickly the note reaches it's highest peak from the moment you hit it. Decay is how quickly it reaches silence once you release it. Depending on where you've set them, the note should vary in it's fading in and fading out. For example, If you have your decay set on lowest, the note should stop as soon as you take the stylus off. If it's set higher, it should slowly fade out.
attack : either its the length of the silence to full sound of the oscillator or the filter.... decay is the peak and fade after the attack before sustain and release! but already knew that right :D no worries
Hi just got one of these, very cool, but I cant get anything to work as an external source. (tried a stereo, ipod, guitar, theremin etc) Any ideas? Do I need a certain cable? I dont understand Japanese so the video and instructions are beyond me. Help!
Nice playing. There are too many demos of the SX-150 online where people aren't actually using it as an instrument, just making noises.
I've got a video of me doing a cover of a sepultura song on my channel - check it out.

You need high gain amplifier to use the external source.
