I think it's wrong that people credit Rob and Fab with "giving the music visual energy" and shit like that.. that's totally bogus. Honestly, I didn't care that they lip synched. they were "performers" paid to lip sync. it's called the music business.

lil wayne autotunes like every song and I think that's worse than lip synching because people are paying to listen to autotune when they KNOW it's fake

I was barely 6 years old so I thought they were the true singers and never understood what happened until years later. But again performing is what it is. They should get their grammy back. I've been researching top dance hits of 85-92. Milli Vanilli is not listed anywhere. Impossible. Every dance club played this record a lot. My thought is when the 'scheme' was revealed and their grammy taken away. all music charts also removed them?

This is an example of the image of a musical act being more important than the music it self. They had to get a couple of guys to lip sync because the actual singer didn't look "cool" enough I guess. why not just have the real singer make the video? It bit Milli Vanilli in the ass though. I realize image is a selling point. A musical act having an image can be kind of fun too. They took it too far with this one though.
