  • lol, pretty cool, where you get the sheet music thoes are some srsly high pitch notes.. XD

  • the reason its bad quality was because there is an echo in the auditorium. so everything sounds kinda bad... no offence it was good playing though.

  • killer

  • WOAH! You ROCK!

  • Well. its been 2 years and u havent done a better one. lol

  • @xtian71796 ya i know :( I've done a lot in the past two years, and its kinda in the back of my mind. I'll write myself a note, and maybe I'll get to it within the next 2 years :P

  • on cello it will be better i think

  • i play cello and its awesome

  • wheres the disortion man

  • When he started the legendary intro, everybody was like, "Oh my God.." Hahah Like, he put a classic metal song on violin. Hahah I love peoples idea's to change up songs. :)

  • pretty good playing. i play violin too, but the sound quality was terrible. sorry, but you really strayed away from the actual song. the solo is way off. whenever I play it, i actually play the tapping part (without actually tapping, haha) and that riff that ends the solo, whi starts on an e on the d string and ends up on a c# on the e sting in 9th position. sry to be a critic, but i gotta give that a 2/5.

  • 5/5 thats awsome XD plp were like omg XD

  • THATS AWESOME

  • dude thats insane

  • that was really good man! violin is really hard, All i can play is this on eletric guitar. but you have my respect becuase it is simply on the violin. granted its not 100 percent perfect, but really damn good for not even being played on the instrument it was supposed to. good job, keep it up

  • >not even being played on the instrument it was supposed to.

    >>i have to disagree, what Randy tried to do was to put classic music into metal so this should fit just as good on a violin as any other instrument.

  • well if you listin to Dee, yes that was his classical side. Crazy Train is no where near Classical, and dont make assumpions, beacuse unless you talked to him in person, you have no idea of what his intentions where with that song. I am going to have to call that meatal, and neither one of us know what his intetons where : mixing metal or not. All I know is that this is played on guitar, and this kid did a great job with the violin. Notice it says with distiortion:classic music dosent have that.

  • The guitar solo in Crazy Train actually has much classical flare, what with the modal (UNpentatonic) choices of scale and unusual trills, so that was the classical side of Randy coming out. But I think I have to agree that besides those traits in the solo it's a pretty straightforward rock/metal song. And this was pretty decent considering he was playing multi-instrumental parts and in a really shitty venue. And yeah, violin is hard.

  • Yes, for the most part it is in the box, or pentatonic scale. The tapping part is perfect arpigos being tapped of F# minor, thats why it still sounds good and its out of the box. The trills, yes that does show some of the classical stuff. I must agree with you though.

  • what a badass

  • ware is the solo

  • ya i sucked, but its at 1:50. thats why i'm going to redo it, eventually. eventually.

  • man this is cool!

  • W.O.W

  • holy crap dude nice

  • The venue ruined a perfectly good performance. Damn echoing D:<

  • nice work lol

  • awsome

  • sick job man

  • cool
