A lot of the drum patterns for the songs were developed by professional drummers, who were impressed at how close the game emulates drums.

So I doubt it'd take too long to adapt to a set of drums

@Neosophist LMFAO um no. Rock band drums are nothing like real drums. In Rock Band, you don't have to worry about dynamics (how hard or soft you hit the notes), opening and closing the hi-hat, or moving around the set; the pads are right next to each other.

You also don't have a note chart streaming at you with real drums. You can be a great Rock Band drummer if you have good hand-eye coordination because the notes are right in front of you, it's not like that in real drumming.

dude, i play rb and real drums, not a ton of difference, change pressure for hitting cymbals or toms, double bass, but i will admit, shannon lucas has gotta be the best drummer ive ever seen, because hes so technical, perfect technique, no random spamming or anything, hes the perfect drummer.
