Amon Amarth are a million times better than Trivium!! In my opinion at least. Trivium are an 80s Metallica ripoff. In my opinion, though, they play better music than Metallica does now.

1) Their new album sucked

true enough. I still really like their newest album though, Death Magnetic. The problem is, people get older and taste changes. sure they are still a rock band but i doubt they enjoy that fast screaming stuff anymore. Its sad but thats the only reason i can think of why they changed

They sold out. They wanted more money, so changed their music style. They got it though. It makes me laugh when bands sellout, fall flat on their face, and then have disgraced themselves so much they lost most of their fanbase. Elvenking comes to mind, though I will admit I have not heard their new album and I heard it's much better than the last one.
