  • Заказал себе такой на eBay...за 56$ ... будем ждать!

  • Das teil sieht aus wie ein Tumor !

  • I've been using a trackball for a year or two now, and edit pictures on an almost daily basis. The problem you talk about with trying to focus on one little section will go away very quickly once you get used to it -- I actually have that problem with using a mouse now trying to do what I want to on a tiny section of a picture! :)

  • I play competitive games at high levels, wireless devices would interfere with my abilities.

But seems nice for casually browsing the web or some shit.

  • @SilverGunZoO Good points and I agree.

  • @SilverGunZoO BLAH BLAH BLAH I JURK OFF AT HIGH LEVELS

  • @NOTSODOTCALM Good for you.

  • @SilverGunZoO as do I & ur wrong if u think wireless would interfere with ur abilities. The products coming out these last few years have no difference in response time that u can see or feel, this only applies to the higher end gaming wireless devices, not cheap $20 to $50 ones. Wired in my case have been an annoyance for me in certain situations.

I had a ms trackball back when we played NOLF2, I was always #1 or top 3 in all ffa matches. It took me 6 months to get good though.

  • @1NutWhoreBitOffMyNut Like I've said, at high levels you won't see wireless devices, end of story.

  • It'll take you maybe a day or two to get used to it, but once you get used to it it's much more comfortable. I play FPS with trackball and it's fine for most games.

  • @awdrifter3 Agree - a couple / few days of use and you wont even notice its there. Good to hear from a gamer as well, thanks for sharing bro!

  • @PCAddictsLive Thanks for the reply. I wish companies would make a gaming oriented trackball. I currently have a MS Trackball Optical 1.0. I would love to have an gaming version of that where the optical sensor is replaced with a higher DPI laser sensor and have the ability to change DPI on the fly.

  • @awdrifter3 I hope they do come out with more options in the future. I have seen a lot more people ordering track balls at work in the past year because of this model here, so hopefully it's happening all over. This should push makers to making some more options, like you suggested. Although, I am very happy with the one I am using, I would like to see more!

  • @awdrifter3

I checked out a comparo review before this one.

I have the corded version of the one with the red

ball. It's definitely an upgrade to the old one I have.

I'll get it when I see it on sale.

  • The reason you have wrist pain is because you use a keyboard tray. Try laying your arms out on the desk. If you're typing and your elbows are not making full contact with the table, you're doing it wrong.

  • @sanitydotorg I appreciate the comments, but I just recently started using a keyboard tray. I have had wrist pain for over 7 years, and never ever used a keyboard tray. It's from a roll-over truck accident (hit black ice on the highway). At work, I don't use a keyboard tray, I do lay my arms on the desk (which I actually like better than a tray, I just don't have the room now with this small corner desk).

  • I ordered this one just yesterday im really looking forward to it :)

I heard only good about m570 but i feel a bit nervous because i will use it for gamin too. some said that why does it have to be wireless if dont move it, but if someone has a laptop and he/she carries it around its really useful.

and nice review, the only thing i donno is that can u program the up-down buttons for others like zoom in-out, open these folders or something like i have with my m550 which is also a great mouse :)

  • @CurseHunter4 I like the fact it is wireless cause there is one less wire on/around my desk. Good point though about it never moving (unless you take it with you on a laptop). You can change what the forward/back buttons do using the Setpoint software, but for game specific, I'm sure you could just like a regular mouse (I don't game much, so not 100% sure).

  • I used a trackball since '99. Had to go back to a mouse for gaming as my last trackball started to mess up. How is the response with the wireless. That is the only real reason I didn't get a new one.

For you and other thinking of getting one. The thumbball can be awkward at first but once you get used to it, it is great.

  • @pds72 Wireless has zero issues for me, both at home and at work. It took me a good few days to get confy with the whole thumbball thing, but now I don't even think about it. I love this thing!

  • I been using mine since 2004 but i learned something new I am going to start angling it it feels even better that way

  • @akashaheart Awesome!

  • I don't have any wrist pain but I'm thinking of trying thses with the thumball, just to see how they work.

  • @Krakko44 Cool - I still love mine!

  • So glad i found this. great device.

  • @ZurHoll Thanks for the comment! Let me know if you get one and how it works out for ya!

  • I've been thinking of getting one of these and this was really helpful - especially the part about angling the mouse so its closer to being vertical.

Thanks for posting! Hope the pain's gone man.

  • @afivey Thanks for the comments bro. Yes, the pain is MUCH less these days, especially after using the computer/mouse for an extended period of time. I have been using the same one at work as well, and it's been great!

  • I love this trackball it's so addictive to use.

  • @voon100 Completely agree!

  • Looks good, but I'm not sure about a thumb ball. I bought the Kensington Orbit Wireless Mobile Trackball and it rocks.

  • @yowassupbro Never tried one of them.

  • @PCAddictsLive hope your wrist pain goes away

  • @mahoganypie Thanks bro - ya, it's doing better these days! Even lifting heavy weights (heavy for me)

  • I have this mouse and it is AMAZING!

  • @guichartrand I agree - it gets better every day :)

  • I just go one yesterday, and I LOVE IT!!!

  • @mahoganypie Awesome - I am still liking mine a lot!

  • I tried one of those things but couldn't get used to it. It might be that I'm used to "normal" mice 'cause I haven't gotten used to trackpads either.

  • @sterlingman Ya bro, I have used regular mice since they came out, trust me, I never thought I would actually own one till now haha

  • It sounds cheap when you clicked the middle mouse button :|

How is it when playing games?

  • @adamh3212 Ya, it does actually lol... compared to my Logitech MX518

  • I remember my uncle having a track ball when I was younger, I used to think it was so futuristic. I'm more of a mouse guy though, I always feel like I don't have enough control unless I'm using a regular old mouse.

  • @YourTechAdmin Completely understand bro - thanks for the comment

  • Lol because of you I now realise that I can scroll left-to-right with my mouse xd I've had it for over 2 years and I never noticed

  • @woodcutterty HAHAHA thats awesome man lol. Glad I was able to help, in a strange way :)

  • I don't like the thumb trackballs.

  • @korwinblue Thanks for the opinion - I am liking it more and more since I bought it.

  • Ive used a wired trackball mouse at a customers house, everytime I go over the more and more i likethem. now that i know its wireless, i might have to invest in on sometime.

  • @hitandrun83 Awesome man, ya try it out, you are welcome to come over and try this one out sometime.

  • @PCAddictsLive I particularly like your username :D

  • @jh5kl haha thanks bro
