Yeah, i played this exact demo-version back in the dizzle as well. It was great fun cuz i could not resist the gory nature of, eh... gory games. And still can't!
I remember playing this game on my mum's computer. She had a Diamond Viper V550 AGP card that didnt fit in my computer. Voodoocards where expensive back then.... after getting a Voodoo 3 2000 PCI there was no way to avoid me to play Turok. I've played it soooo many times.. but i have completed it only two or three times... its getting really hard later on
July 4th, 1997. I'll never forget getting this as an early birthday present when I was 9 years old turning 10. Went up to my local Toys R'Us and got a beautiful brand new Nintendo 64 and this game, and wooooow. The feeling of hooking it up, flipping it on and seeing those fluid 3D graphics was just unreal.
I still have my N64 and all my old game cartridges, hooked up to my TV, just incase I need to remember the hey days, some 13 years ago. Those were the days...
