@macman142 was a hand-me-down of a hand-me-down. I'm sure if you look hard enough, there will be something out there. My advice for a beginner: choose fibreglass instead of timber. The Stebercraft Viceroy has a classic shape like this, there's a few of them on BoatPoint.
@TheMaxtothemax an iron engine will easily run for a couple of minutes without water. However a water pump (car or boat) may be stuffed in much less time than that.
i swear i saw this thing up Tinaroo Dam(near Cairns, Far north QLD) a fair few years back, thing was butting some of the v8 ski boats to shame!

I'm trying to buy a boat just like this one. Where did you find it?

@gergatronic Thanks for the info/tip, definitely 100% set on timber. Wish me luck. Absolutely beautiful boat you have.

Gone to wooden boat heaven. I gave it to the bloke who owns Aggressor, the classic V12 race boat.

cool boat. Im currently rebuilding an old jetboat with a 186 in it I hope it sounds as cool as yours.

Yeah this one needs total refurb, timber is stuffed.
186 was the best red donk, beats a "poo-oh-poo" any day.
Don't forget to put up some vids of yours when you're done mate. Cheers!

Agree that it's not a Seacraft. Sounds sweet and sits good on the water. Unusual to see the exhaust out through the side.

Thanks woodennut, your expertise is appreciated.
Yeah exhaust was originally out the back but then you cant see if the engine's getting water. Out the side, problem solved.

Thanks mate, she may have been a kit boat then. Gotta say though, if it is then the workmanship was pretty good.
