Being a HUGE Conan fan I loved this game and knowing they wanted to introduce Conan to a new generation of people was great. I was shocked a bit at horrible its sales were though. I figured it was a done deal to make a lot of money especially to the 'God of War' fan audience out there. Still though, it's a game that pays homage to Conan in spades I think.
I have it on 360 (yeah yeah I know Xbox sucks, I'm going to sell it and get a PS3 so I can play God of War). Anyway, it's a pretty good game, kind of underrated IMO. It's not GREAT, or SUPER, but it's fun to play for an hour or two at a time. =)

Imagine if one popped out of every man Arnold killed in Conan? Imagine if he had a 5 second cooldown on power swings? The film would be unwatchable.
I'm actually doing a capture straight from my monitor using the Panasonic NV-GS200 video camera. But for my newer game videos (from GRID PS3 Review), I actually use my TV tuner as a capture device, which produces much better quality as compared to using video camera...
lol it isnt trash the cool graphic killing moves are what really got me on this game cutscens i think are really shit they look like ps2 cutscens but thats only cos it was firstly on xbox for 3 years then it came on ps3 its not a exclusive ps3 game like resistance or assassins creed
I would say its more a baldours gate similarity than god of war, i see nothing similar to gow, unless ur talking about the runes conan collects, that is in almost every game of the same genre in some form, nothing like gow

John Milius' CONAN THE BARBARIAN with Schwarzenegger is a fantastic movie, way better than anything that has come since under the "CONAN Brand". This game is a cheap clone of "GOD OF WAR", really shouldve came out on PS2 or something 5 years ago.
RE Howard's CONAN was so-so, it was pulp short story colelction, which were like R-rated comic books of their day, nothing more.
Put simply, you cannot judge a game in it's demo form, thats stupid. A game in demo mode will never give you good satisfaction.. just a small taste, a freebee of what is to come. When gamers review games, it's done on a complete version of the game to get a clearer picture of what to expect when potential purchases are iminant. go buy then review.
I don't mean to be offensive, but most (or all) demos are supposed to impress players as much as possible so that the they would go ahead to purchase the full version of the game. If the demo doesn't impress, sorry man, it's gonna disappoint players and there goes the sales. No doubt, there'll still be improvements to be done from the demo, but as far as gameplay goes, you'll have to agree it shouldn't drift too far away from the original game...
Comic book super hero? This guy doesn't know what he's talking about. Conan's a character from R.E.Howards stories. Yes, he may have been a comic book character at some point, but he's no 'super hero'.

The PC version seems to be called Conan: Hyborian Adventures. Don't think it's the same as the one available on the PS3 and 360...
