  • Dope fuking track!! Legend -dj premier

  • never gets old...

  • The Best Part: DJ PREMIER

  • sick ! Almost Mr. Lif - Universal beat .

  • my whole house just went ILL on this track

  • I first heard J Live on Friday Night Flavas, Power 106...like 1999 or 2000

Man he was freestyling with Combo it was so sick!

  • I first heard this joint on a sick Primecuts mix on the short-lived independents slot on Westwood's show in the late 90s/ early 2000s - I would stay in first Friday of every month to tape it. I wish BBC would unearth their masters of those sessions and put them online b/c they were dope and everyone - myself included - seems to have lost their tapes.

  • i almost wet myself when i found out this wasn't just a mashup.

  • Lovin this shit! J-Live soundz so ill over this Premo beat!

  • Every teenager n southern "rapper" need to educate themselves n listen to this....classic joint!!!!

  • Can't. Stop. Listening.

  • J live isnt a fad, thats why people with a acquired taste can jam on him there whole life. Real talk

  • J-Live in Toronto Aug. 25!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Fucking song ! Real HIP-HOP

  • For some reason, this song makes me want to cry that Hip Hop is some what alive, on YouTube!!

  • God bless the child that can write his own rhyme :)

  • watta combo, j live and premier rippin it!

  • thanks for the lyrics, my english is not that good to understand every word, peace from austria!

  • Epic

  • sell your mic and buy a bike because yer weak, and take a hike when the J-Live starts to speak!

  • what kind of tools could dislike this?

  • of course primo did shit with J-live, he's always been with the sickest

  • "...god bless the child that can write his own rhymes..."

  • @sims983

does anyone know who says that vocal? (And uploader before you go schizo on my ass and delete my comment, Primo never had a problem with people discussing the source of his scratches. The Chuck D drama was entirely different.)

  • @slater080808

"vocal" = "god bless the child that can write his own rhymes"

  • @asomboodoo123456789 actually it do things for the kids its from quiet storm by mobb deep the full lyric goes do things for the kids the little duns!

  • J-live rips this unbelievable beat, PZ from Canada... PPRREEMMMOOOO

  • I have yet to hear a bad Primo record

  • @gdeep783 I don't think he could make one if he tried, lmao.

  • make sure to listen to the album's intro, "outside looking", before you listen to this because the entire last verse references it

  • People who like J-Live listen to Ritchy Pitch feat J-Live-The Lyricist. One of the best hip-hop tracks ive ever heard.

  • As a 20 year Premier fan from the first day I heard his style I have to say this sick track is top 5 for me. It's so perfect and unique, everything you expect from a juicy primo track. I never get tired of it. Love the intro. Amazing (sad) that so few people know about it.

  • fuck me. kick it son. stops half way thru. shame

  • fuck me. kick it son

  • ooooooohhhh shhiittt!!!!!!!!!!!!! GREATNESS!! premo never lets me down x)

  • this track is the motherfucking fuckin shittt kiddddd

  • This is another addictive Premo Beat.......... Sickle...... Check Out Tha Mongsta on here!!! Peace

  • quality real hip hop :)

  • Check 4 , Beats by Wallace Green

  • The track is dope. Leave it at that. Enough comparing people to Lil' Wayne. Everything doesn't have to be a competition. Just enjoy the vibe.

  • @evisukid22 i agree the track is nasty but the comparing to lil wayne is just natural, cause he is the perfect example of how fucked up rap has become. I'm so sick of not being able to find a good record you can play from begining to end anymore. True rappers give you more then a single, they give you art. Anymore it's all about the money, not the music. J-Live is nasty, much respect, and premo, well what can you say that hasn't been said, he's legendary.

  • straight fire!

  • thats what i call REAL!

  • J-live+Premo=CLASSIC

  • fucking DOPE. Through and through..

  • @asomboodoo123456789 Sup , i was born in 94 , i started listening to real hiphop at your age too. Keep it real man.

  • Classic!

  • "God bless the child who can write his own rhymes"

  • Want a cookie?...Why heads gotta be cocky. Just be happy and enjoy the music.

  • @mrmaoam Want a cookie LMAO! FUCKIN HELL!

  • damn i wanna know the sample

  • @sjeweettoggg Deniece Williams - I Believe in Miracles

  • one of my favorite premo beats no doubt

  • this is the real shit!!!! dope beat!!!!!

  • real hip hop

one of the best mcees and one of the best producers in hip hop this decade

  • straight rockin

  • premo is the best

  • This is the essence of real hip hop, fuck the mainstream!

  • "you aint shit if you got a good show...y'know i dont care how good you are on tape, if i come to the show and i see you wack you sound even wack on tape man! "

  • this song is the shit.

  • Its truly sad that i can find and early Lil Wayne or a 1993 Master P album at the local record store but i gotta call the fuckin search and rescue squad to get this shit. Can you believe Lil Wayne got his very OWN VH1 BEHIND THE MUSIC!??!?!??!! Damn shame!! Give to guys who deserve it like Kool G Rap, Dilated Peeps, or even DJ Evil Dee or Primo.....i dunno, just somebody besides a dude with "Crack-Addict" tattoos all over his face and lyrics that could be challenged by a Linda Ronstadt freestyle

  • Amen!!

  • @mcsuchnsuch no doubt man

  • lol

  • @mcsuchnsuch

dude i haven't heard evil dee for ever, lol, i gotta get some black moon bumpin on the record player man

  • @stevesk8r yea, i hear you. Its a good feeling when you forget about a certain album or song and you throw that shit back in to the rotation and the memories flash rite back. I just heard "Super Soul Sis" by Warren G last nite and that shit brought sum good times back. Be EZ bro.....peace

  • @mcsuchnsuch don't worry, nothin we can do about it, the mainstream media loves sellouts...(that's the only type of "rapper" they will recognize)...real hip hop will continue to be real

  • @mcsuchnsuch

This to the 100th degree, Excellent post.

  • @mcsuchnsuch i dont give a shit hip hop is better like this, keep it underground..

  • @royaleee hard for the fans who don't live in america (uk) to find new material worth listening to if it stays that way, and the hip hop here imo sucks so its tough. get it into the mainstream is the best way, wont happen though :/

  • @ashleyboyo69 I'm from the netherlands and i found it. If youre really into hip hop you will find evereything

  • @royaleee I am really into hip hop and I do find a lot. Even so I find it frustrating having to search hard just to find a few new songs/artists when it would be easier if they were in the charts already.

  • @ashleyboyo69 Oke, I have a other opinion.

  • @beantownfanatic718 wooooooord !!

  • so true!

  • @mcsuchnsuch They must love famous people than the Culture, or the Music for that matter.

  • so true man real rapppers invented this shit and they get no recognition

  • @mcsuchnsuch though i get what ur saying ya gotta chill wit all the hate on wayne, he has talent, its not all bullshit, its jus all the bullshit that the mainstream listeners wanna hear so thats what gets sold the most, we all know its fucked

  • @ganjainmygravy alright, i respect what your saying about get'n hyped up on Wayne but its my opinion. I listened to some of Waynes stuff but i stopped. You might call it hate but i call fact, you say hes has talent i say he has none...its all good, the world still spins no matter whos wrong or right.

  • @mcsuchnsuch Bwah bwah bwah Lil wayne sucks, real hip hop bwah bwah bwah

Shut up, why do I have to see one of these posts everytime I go to an old song. If you don't like Lil Wayne don't listen to him.

  • @mcsuchnsuch LMAO PREACH BROTHA!!!

  • Pipe* down and listen here. You're welcome

  • hell yeah

  • Hellza sick been listenin to this for years now never gets old!!!!

  • great,brings back memories.

    5 stars
