i know you guys hate bodyboarders, irrational as it may be i understand, it is a lesser sport, if it can be classed as a sport.. but i enjoy it, cuz i dont get time to learn to surf as i live hundreds of miles from a decent wave.

anyway, im gonna CR in November, was wondering if anyone knows if there's anywhere you can hire bodyboards and fins?

oh and does it hurt when one of those lands on you? im only used to messy waves rarely see em breaking clean like that..

thats is some sick footy. ive surfed it a bunch of times on my 5'11" and the next year we went back on my 6'0" and my buddy only had his 6'0. we got some sick ones u just gotta paddle ure ass off and a little liquid courage and herbs helped the sessions. thats the best wave ive ever surfed hands down. i made the only real barrels of my life there. ALOHA keep em comin

This spot is nuts! My friend & I surfed there on a day that was about 5 feet "Hawaiian size scale" & all I had was a 6'2. My friend had a 6'3. We were out for about 4 hours & only caught 3 waves each. Just constant paddling.If you plan to surf there on a day like that, you better have a 6'8 or 7'2 or your gonna get an ass whoop'n.

yeah true, but some of the injuries from surfing are different... like ive sliced my hand and it was so cold i didnt know i was bleeding... or theres the more long term issues like the torn muscle between most of my ribs from getting caught inside too many times. i can deal with this stuff tho surfing is the best sport in the world, then bodyboarding, then bodysurfing. you gotta love them all
