This storm actually gave the city of Lansing 6 inches and a winter storm warning on the night of new year! I remember that night like it was yesterday. I got some sleep in the evening and woke up at ~9:30 PM 12/31. I was out shovelling all night and did not get back to sleep until 8:30 AM. First night that ever happened!
