  • my sleepinginturbine addiction is finally cured

  • hmmm why the hell is he in my bed?!?! O_o

(the turbin gonna running warm ;D )

  • why do they always run in reverse when at the gate? ive always wondered that.

  • i go to school to fix turbine engines on airplanes and this guy is NOT doing any kind of check lmao maybe a visual inspection on the turbine blades but i dont see why hew would be doing that during an engine run up...i wonder if he still has a job?!

  • @jessetaylor90

thats germany ..we check engines this way ;)

  • @jessetaylor90 The blades aren't even going fast enough to do anything.

  • @mynameissooriginal2 yes, they would hurt like hell if it hit your head and probably draw some blood... they have quite a lot of weight all together

  • @tiger101757 It isn't anything you would go to the hospital for.

  • he is not sleeping, he is taking notes while checking turbine :) lol :)

  • I have a boner.

  • First time I have seen a turbine run backwards. Duh. It's the wind!

  • Well.. so when we all know that this is a technician who is actually watching the turbine during enginge start.. what is so funny about that?

  • Kann mann Dümer sein als der???

  • i want a f-13 on my keyboard..-.-'

like when you want too..:DD xD

  • its just the wind blowing the fan around an probably the videomaker added a jet engine sound

  • full speed ahead!!

  • why so many dislikes? i LOLd at this vid!! :D

  • @scorpian865 you "LOLd" seeing few seconds clip of some guy standing somewhere - ARE YOU GAY? O_o

  • is the turbine just running the opposite way or i really dont know even a small fuck about planes?

  • @manongicecream

It's not running at all. It's just windmilling in the breeze. There is an known danger zone around running jet intakes and any airport worker understands that, or at least the ones that plan to live.

  • @manongicecream

Oh......and to answer your question, from the angle of the blades you can see that the breeze is in fact turning the fan backwards.

  • He dont Sleep in the Turbine, hes writing the used fuel quantity. OMFG

  • probably dead, duh

  • The engine isn't running backwards.. the blades are moving in the appropriate direction to force air through them and into the combustion chamber, idiot. If they moved the other direction, they wouldn't pull any air in.

  • @gta253 Yes, it's running backwards. Simply, it's a windy day ant it's spin by the wund coming from rear

  • @gta253 Yes, it's running backwards. Simply, it's a windy day and the compressor it's spin by the wind coming from rear and flowing into the fan outflow

  • FAKE that is reverse direction of typical running turbine!...

    Fake..

  • for all these people who somehow see propellers in the engine, there are none. i dont know how anyone sees propellors in there

  • @appleintosh Well I quess that people call these propellers because they think that it's 100% correct word for everything that kindly works like fan and does have blades. Even I used to call those as propellers long time ago, but not anymore.

  • not running they just turned it off and the props are still runny lol if it was running he wouldnt be standing there 50,000 pounds of thrust would suck him into the engine like a feather :p

  • Worlds first low-speed jet engine. Max rev at 100rpm.

    Friendly on the birds.

  • the turbine is just winmilling if it was running, it would spin the opposite direction

  • He is writing something

  • idiot? ouhhmann äh wirklich nur deppen :D

  • He's not sleeping. He thought he heard a noise in there.

  • his wife doesn,t allow him to sleep at home so he is sleeping at work, funny.

  • ok well that was kinda wierd and funny but the propelers ARE spening the right way but like all of you said its just the wind witch in turmes is called windmilling so yeah

  • the engine is being turned by the wind, nothing more..

  • running...

    this is cranking, without fuel

  • He is writing in a journal, and you can't sleep stood up

  • @snedie69er you can sleep standing up ....my cuzin fell asleep in a line at buch gardens and he was standing up

  • @admsk89

    Your cousin has aids

  • its not running. its being blown backwards by the wind. still looks a bit of a pratt though

  • it aint runnin its windmiling

  • des is ganz einfach.. bei wind drehen sich die triebwerke von allein! keine gefahr!

  • the fan is turning by wind. and if you look more detailed, you see that the engine is running in the wrong direction...

  • The engine isen't on, its powering off....

  • take a break

  • @9vdd9v have a kit kat!

  • Das ist kein mensch das ist eine PUPE

  • This is dumb.

  • yah, very funny . the jet engine is not even moveing

  • Oh c'mon seriously? its just a jet engine what could possibly go wrong.

Cause of crash: a 6 foot bird wearing a black uniform flew into the engine. :D

  • Jumping intakes in the winter will make you sleepy!

  • Why is this so funny? Hasn't everyone slept inside a turbine engine at some point in their lives? :)

  • @valleyfever I watched as they started a maintenance run on an F-15 and this slacker popped up off the back of the plane. He was sleeping in the contour between the engines. Paid dearly cause Safety was watching!

  • Comment removed

  • @valleyfever More like in a piston cylinder where the piston comes in and out ever so often.

  • its not runing thats just the backround the turbine is doing wat u call windmiling witch is when it is a windy day and the compresor blades catch the wind but it is still funny that he is sleeping tho lol

  • XD so funny XD

  • haha lol

  • These highly trained technicians are actually listening to the acoustics of the engine trying to pick out abnormalities right before take off. Lifesavers you might call them. It is estimated that 1 in 600 checks result in requiring the plane to remain grounded for an extra 1-1.5 hrs. for a temporary fix, upon arriving back in its country, or city of origin it will then undergo proper maintenance through the owning company.

  • very interesting

  • this turbine is not running though ;-)

  • It's not working. It's the wind only.

  • the only waste here is your comment

  • lol

  • Er schläft niemals, er füllt doch ein formular aus das sieht man doch gleich

  • @Onjache seh ich genau so.

  • shave your hair, but do not use an airplane turbine!

  • there are better ways to get a haircut

  • yes

  • The turbine is not running, it's just rotating from the wind that blows through. That happens when aircraft are parked.

And it looks more like he's filling out a form, not sleeping.
