Thanks for posting. If You look on my Youtube Channle, I have filmed the engine arriving and leaving Barrow on the same day this was filmed.
I live in Barrow and after reading about it in the paper, I headed down with my Tripod and Camera. Platform 1 was packed by the time the engine came in.
So after I filmed the engines arrival I moved to Platform 2 to get the engines departure.
Well Skip, this little Island of our is surrounded by water, so humidity levels are usually quite high but on this particular day a combination of very light winds under a high pressure system made for some spectacular steam effects. The first part of this rail tour to Carlisle followed the coast line almost continually for something like 80 miles.
Why don`t you pot more words at the Tag list? I am lucky because I'm subscribed at your videos, but... I bet there are a lot of people who like trains and will not find this BEAUTIFUL MADE & EXTREMELY INTERESTING MOVIE!
Thanks lads. It was fantastic trip and we do it all again on the 8th of March, this time from Liverpool. So book your seats now folks. It really is lovely run.

Smashing stuff Hugh. Loved the smoke trail that the Duke left over the Cumbrian Coast. And the footplate sequences are great as well.
Hope to catch you around again on the ELR soon. Thanks again for sharing, 5*.

I remember the Two Roses run three years ago. Let's hope she doesn't run out of water this time! Cheers!
