The trannys aren't cheap for the 7.3 in the 99 to early 03 superduty's. My brother is looking at one from ATS diesel performance in Aurora Colorado and its about $4300.00. I think it would be worth it for sure.
yep it was a moving power brake notice the brake lights dumb ass. he was trying to make it smoke more by loading it up and the tires were spining cuz so much torque.
Ugh. svt27 & everyone else, he was NOT trying to do a burnout. Did you ever hear of brake boosting or 'pre-loading' the turbo? When you hold the brakes, it causes more work/drag on the motor allowing for more fuel. Since it's probably the stalk Turbo, it's not allowing him to have enough air to burn off the fuel, making it half burnt and causing the black smoke. If he was attempting a burnout, he would be stopped first and not going anywhere, just spinning the rear tires. Make sense?
@scottums5427 its a rivalry thing, i own both a cummins and powerstroke so i am neutral. Its the same as.... rooting for ur favorite football team and baggin on the rival team... human nature
Yes the rear tires are spinning when accelerating. It's called torque, and with a chip plus injectors would be able to spin the wheels easily in third gear ;)

he hit the brakes for a quick second in the beginning and did a little burn out. OoOoOoOoOo watch out, things a slow turd every P STRO owner knows that. "he woulda been gone" said by: Mr01powerstroke. you gotta learn pal.
SockBilly. He was spinning the tires the whole time. That takes quite a bit of horsepower. If he did hook up he would most definitely wouldve been gone.
my main questions how does the 7.3 react to the ULSD out there for a stock app and how does that affect its performance.? for all i know that 6.4 is suffering due to strict regulations of the epa, castrating performance for us and leaning more towards the tree hugging aspect of emissions, sure its quieter and cleaner but not enough bounce to the ounce and lacking fuel economy just sucks..
2003 f250's with the 7.3 go for about 12-15k with that kinda milage, i was lookin at gettin one had 85k miles on it extended cab longbed 4x4 aftermarket 18" wheels and buckshots and aftermarket muffler and no soot screen for right under 16k
Im not here to hate on diesels at all. I dont mind them I like to drive them and they are fun. But I definitely like gas over diesel. I like the sound of a tuned up built chevy over a loud whistle of a turbo to be honest but thats just my preference. Nice truck man.

Diesels suck balls. The old codgers and limber-dicked suburban cowboy wanna be's that buy them like the way they rattle and stink like a Semi. They probably like to sniff their own farts too. "Torque" this and "Power" that- the truth is they usually make less power than the base model gas engine. By the time you hot-rod them to make decent power they get shitty mileage and are less reliable than the gas motors.
Diesel engines are used because they are more efficient, not more powerful.
@EclipseRdaShit Hey EclipserDUMBshit some people enjoy a diesel engine that can actually work and have enough torque to do physical work. Torque is the shit that gets you rolling. Power will keep you moving and the only reason that the base gas engine has 'more power' is because the peak hp is at high rpm's. Diesels only need about 2000 rmp. So do you think that your pussy ass eclipse can move an 8000 lb hunk of metal along with about 16000 lbs down a highway at 70 to 80 m.p.h. ? Didnt think so!
@EclipseRdaShit some basse gas engines have more power but cant do shit besides move a little car really fast...thats it! Diesel engines are actually more fuel efficient than a hybrid. And holy hell I cant even believe that you just said that they are less reliable than a gaser piece of crap. If you were to compare the reliability of a diesel to a gas, diesel would own it hard core. I dont know where your from but you obviously dont get the diesel engine and what it can do.
@EclipseRdaShit Hey queer fucker you can bring 15 of those mitsipussy cars over here and chain them all together and ill rip them all down the street backwards with my powerstoke, just rember i have more displacement inside my oil filter than your engine has woop your ass at the track and when you can figure out where to hook a 5th wheel on that thing and cross the scales at over 30,000 pounds let me know so go watch fast and the furious and beat off
wow thats all need ed to say and for all the diesel smasher i would like to see you make 8000 lbs of metal smoke the tires like! and REAL TRUCKS DONT HAVE SPARK PLUGS
Nothing like watching a fast tractor. Try a high compression big block, they run on PETROL, or gas to you. Big torque & horse power without all the black crap pouring out of the exhaust. (and the rev counter goes beyond 2500 rpm) - unbelivable but true, it's the future man.
Are you blind? If you would have been looking at the left rear tire you can clearly see the tire broke lose and spun most of the way up the hill, and not only that you can hear the tire squealing. It helps to pay attention before shooting your mouth off.
you'll never get it to smoke that good without upgrading your fuel... black smoke is just unburnt fuel, you can get a chip to make it smoke quite a bit, but not that much. you get an HPOP and injectors, then you gotta upgrade turbo, air to air, which means rods, studs are next... ect.
Is there a cheaper way to get it to smoke like this with out having to get hybrid injectors, a new fuels system, new turbo, tranny and a Terminator HPOS?
This is not my truck, however the truck has stage three hybrid injectors, fuel system, H2E turbo, BTS transmission and Terminator HPOS (not in the video)
