Nice work! Hey on your 555 timer chips do you have a 1nf capacitor going from pin 5 to ground? Sometimes putting one in can help stabilise the 555 chip.

@Alex1M6: Thanks, to be honest, on this particular project i didn't bother. I usually do put on in But I have never really noticed a difference between using the 1nf cap and not :-/.
