This is one of my all time favorites even though I don't understand what it means. Could someone put this video in perspective? Why is everyone so sad and pensive looking?
No body is giving tribute to Naushad for this composition. Great composer he was,a really great alrounder. All the songs of "Dhwani" are great,. There is no tinge of resemblance from his old Hindi songs, that is really marvellous. The composer comes first, then only the singer and the lyricist..
The person uploading a song/sequence/movie has a resposibility to provide the bare ninimum details about the subject. People like me who is away from Kerala/India for decades may not know the details from print media. I know for certain that gifted Yusaf Ali Kecheri had written the lyrics. Language is Sanskrit. But how come Sanskrit lyrics crept in a Malayalam movie? When it is released and where the story is taking place? Lyric is good whether it is Khadiboli/Sanskrit. Can somebody explain? Thks
a beautiful hindu devotional song. music given by a muslim(Naushad) and the lyrics written by another muslim(Yusuf ali kecheri).Need any other proof for our country being secular
true. Our music and traditions are a complex mix of Hindu and Muslim cultures. Great Hindu devotional songs sung by Rafi Saheb in Baiju Bhawra are excellent example of this.
awesome..............

Beautiful song. Naushad's genius. Who wrote the lyrics though? Is this a traditional hymn? Any idea?
