@luuij0ss No not double stands in base ball the batter cant be hit in cricket the batter can be hit the rule in cricket is when the bowler bowls the ball hit it or be hit. Base ball the ball doesnt bounce in cricket it does so in .5 of a sec the batter has to descide what shot hes gonna play what position hes gonna be in the the bowler lets it go.

actually, a golden rule in baseball is that after a homerun, the pitcher who received the homerun is going to hit the next batter from the opposing team who hit the homerun, in order to intimidate them, imagine being hit by a ball over 155 km per hour without any protecttion. all I've got t say is "OUCH !!!!"

In base ball if u hit a batter on purpose you get thrown out of the game as itsd illegal. In cricket if a batter hits a 6 homerun the next ball usually is a bouncer and if the batter gets hit its his bad luck go back and face the next ball. A baseballer will prob face about 20 balls in a match a cricket batter will sometimes face well over 300 and stay out there for 4 hours doesnt happen alot but it does happen

and actually on average the ratio of player being hit is a lot higher in baseball than in cricket, don't believe me , look it up

hitting a 90 mile an hour fastball is hard, the pro's have less than 2 seconds to decide if they want to swing or not, otherwise they are late on the ball, and in that 2 seconds they have to pick out whether it is a fastball, curveball or any assortment of pitches so they dont know what they are getting. No it doesnt take the best physical condition to play but it does help.

I didn't mean that soccer was simple, but strategically it's a lot easier. For playing keep you definitely need a lot of agility but you can compare it with fielding; no ball should pass :P

funny to see so many arguments here about baseball. I guess having played a lot of soccer when I was younger and now playing softball. Softball or baseball is not as easy as JT makes it look. You need to be in good shape, because you never know when you'll have to use all power to either catch, run or hit without pulling a muscle. Besides baseball/softball is a lot more strategical than soccer. Soccer for that matter is rather simple, soccer also requires less agility.
